I think it's time I did a blog of my garden, from its very humble beginnings to present.
It started out as this.
Everything was cleared, the leylandii in the neighbours garden were cut to ground level as it was robbing my garden of light, nutrients in the soil, and everything was bone dry. It was dug, rotavated, weeded, dug some more, weeded, rotavated, dug, rota....... Well, you get the idea. It was hard work, but with a blank canvas I could start to build On it.
Started with some decking to replace the very old patio
The leylandii that we took down from a neighbours garden
New lawn, sleepers and shed
Our little lads playhouse
Planting started on the large triangular border
A little more added
Table and chairs added
More planting added to the border
Border by garage planted, shed painted cream
Side border planted
Fences painted black
Bamboos, musas, trachycarpus etc added

Now onto the new growth starting late march/early April this year

It's come a long way in 18 months!
