    Just got back from a week away and there is horsetail everywhere, front and back, along with the UK’s largest collection of rosebay willowherb. I think I’ll turn round and leave again.

    Accepted wisdom, is to pot on when they have true leaves, so I would leave it for now. As mentioned, if you damage a seed leaf, before they have true leaves, the plant might die.
