The soil here is neutral @pete but I have a Camellia which does well too, even though it’s in neutral, dry soil, and full sun. Some plants ignore the rules

I haven't cemented in my brick border edges....which is just as well as I've moved them three times to increase the size of the borders....and can't rule out doing it again!
