I'm quite sure it keeps people off the streets and out of trouble @lizzie27 . Eg there are several women in the patchwork club who have just that one social outing a week and/or have OH's in care homes with dementia and need a few hours to follow their own interests and decompress. Newer...

Just for information, here is one of the 40 Penstemon "Heavenly Blue" plug plants that arrived from Brookside this morning. Every one had an identical root system. Still waiting on the Farmer Gracy order.

This afternoon I went for a walk along a section of the Wirral Way, a former railway line, mostly the small paths leading to it, with photos of wildflowers, the estuary and a seagull! It was good to feel a sense of spring in the air .
