Should i dig up this plant and repot it
Thanks the bark is only there as a mulch to stop water loss that has happened when it has been very hot . Its not part of the soil mix. but i will remove the ties

What should I plant here? ideas please
That's a very good suggestion regarding the soil @Plantminded My idea of a small tree might have been too optimistic, looking at the photos again, as it does seem that the border is quite narrow.
