Some really good advise on slippery decking mine is the same, inherited.During the summer it's fine but very slippy when wet. It's a great place to eat out in the summer months and I like its position. I have just purchased anti slip Cuprinol so hoping it will work after a good clean

Evening all, Do I need to cut back my lavender?There are healthy looking shoots coming through but do I need to cut back on what has stopped flowering? This time last week I had an abundance of bees visiting the plant but now not one.I have added pics of my two different plants.

Well it would be a great pity to waste the flower and its gorgeous scent: pick the flower

Dig the border over and mix in lots of organic matter, then water regularly.Not sure whether ferns would take as I don't grow them, but the aspect should also be considered, ie is it shady or sunny?I have a very dry border and I go over it several times with the hose attachment set on...
