    love growing these each year. And yes they are easy to grow. But as far they helping with weed control, nope, not dense enough. Love starting them in pots. This year I have two seed types...

    FC , a few years since I grew these , I understand germination can be erratic though. It says up to three weeks at room temperature ( no bottom heat needed ) . The seeds can be stratified to help...

    Is your veg already in @Sarah Giles ? If not you could plant through weed control fabric or black plastic otherwise I'd say regular hoeing is your best bet..You could try putting some weed...
