I went on a school trip in that bit of term after taking my 'O'levels, and it was absolutely amazing and one of the treasured experiences of my life (honestly!). I stood at the despatch boxes and sat on the wool sack - don't think you get to do that any more... My daughter is doing politics...

There're such a lot of 'covid era' dogs in rescue centres. People bought them during lockdown and the dogs, especially puppies didn't get to be socialised. These dogs have terrible anxiety, not surprising when they were treated as toys when puppies. They just can't understand why they've gone...

So I also have a cup of grits leftover from two nights ago. Not wasting that. Will mix it in with some ground sausage, and add an egg, spices, and fry it up. Normally people put bread crumbs in, grits will be just fine.

Maybe if I had close family living far away Zoom/Skype/or whatever would be a good idea for me too, but I only have a few relations and some of those are not very communicative anyway, so I don't know why I thought about it in the first place, and I've decided not to bother with it.
