Our garden points north. It gets the sun from the morning until about 10 and then from about 2 until 6. The afternoon exposure get earlier and longer as we go into Summer and comes to an end about end of August. As such I would be looking at no putting in a lot of plants, just a workable amount in the area that get the most sunlight.

Our garden is on a slight gradient toward the house. This has caused the first third (looking from the house) to become sodden in parts. Some of the turf actually look as though it has collapsed. The turf has to come up so I can remove the detrius from the site that the builders (sic) were kind enough to squirrel away.
