it is a collection of specially bred lillies for the scottish climate by a proffesor north at present 3 plants from the collection are missing unfortunately not mine or yours,they have high collectable ratings especially in scotland,there is a fairly decent collection held near perth
Lovely deep colour , these were on Beeechgrove last Monday all about them plus they showed the 3 phots of the ones missing Spruce
The colour is breathtaking.....I may move it next to some lighter lillies to get the full effect. the only thing is that I've had to support one of the stems as it was starting to lean presumably due to the weight of the buds on the stems. I got these from bulbs supplier in lincolnshire (based in Alnwick)....but the selection is just superb...wall to wall shelves of lily bulbs (packed in sawdust in a bag) I really have to hold back buying too many!!
