Hi can we have a daily seed sowing thread

I have always treated the what are we doing thread as anything to do with gardening, but specific to current tasks which at this time of year includes seed sowing and seedling issues.

I have also found the search function quite useful.

 

Once again, part of my post dissolved. I had tried to add that starting a new post asking about any seeds you wish to try is always welcome. This group is very sharing.

No, the problem with typos is not with the forum, it is my tablet, which resides next to my evening libations....and this thing adds and deletes at random.......

 

I'm not sure what the issue is, it is a public forum so if you want a topic covered in a particular forum area, then just start one explaining what you want it to include. To keep track of it if it does start to sink down the page, keep it in your favourites.

No need to ask for it to be covered, not necessary for admins to discuss or for other topics to be mentioned.

Just start a seed topic..

Seed sowing is already all over the place:

What jobs are you doing in the garden
Allotment growing
Tomato thread
Chillies thread
Cannas thread
Pumpkin competition
Onion competition
Etc.

and that's without having seed sowing thread(s) in Edible Gardening and presumably also other seed sowing threads for flowers, alpines, tropical, etc.

 

Well, I did think my answer was courteous, truthful and helpful.

I'll just walk away, sorry for causing such discourse.

I prefer to have one which include all kinds of seed sowing, fruit, veg, flower, so I can go mad to buy buy buy ...

Tracy just asked for a daily seed sowing topic, no mention of special or sticky, hence why I said no need for admin approval just go ahead and post the topic.

Yes there is seed sowing on many topics, just like there are many tomato topics too, you can bet your bottom dollar there will be five more tomato topics before season end too.

In Tracy's post, what she asked for could be completed by herself with no problems or issues or involvement from others. Just post the topic.

But now she is directed to post to a topic that whilst the same subject, does not to my mind and others here fulfil the criteria or her requirements as in a "daily seed sowing thread" as opposed to the recommended "principles of seed sowing"

So I don't see it as a solution but I know from past experience to not bother continuing as if I do we will get to ten pages long and still disagree.
