Out with my family for a walk this afternoon.



Take a close look at the wheel to spot something unusual.

 

Looks like a young birds on it's nest on the centre shaft

Is it a old flour mill?

 

It didn't occur to me to take a close up, sorry folks. It is actually a tortoiseshell cat sitting on the centre shaft in the sun.

@Jiffy I've lived on the island 23 years and only visited this area for the first time last autumn, it is called 'The Raggart'. I know nothing about the ex-mill and I can't seem to find anything on the web either.

 

Try looking for Glenfaba Mill, it's been dormant since 1959 and was owned by the Faragher family and were millers from 1880
