    Morning Wiseowl,
    No snow here.
Supposed to be cold, will check out later when I venture out from under the quilt.

      No snow here,
Been up since silly o'clock, in pain with a broken toe. Took ages for painkillers to work.:mute:
Have to take car for a check, couple of problems need sorting out. :fingers crossed:
      Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, certainly a cold one this morning. Shiney, I take it your entertaining yesterday was very successful and hope you managed to rest your back in the end.
Lili that sounds painful, not a lot you can do for a broken toe though. Hope it eases up soon.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

          Aloha everyone,

My garden seems to have aged overnight. It's gone white! :hate-shocked:

It's alright for you to laugh but us southern softies aren't used to adverse weather conditions. :snork:

This half inch of snow would have precipitated phone calls form some of my younger staff saying that they couldn't come to work because of the weather. My managers had a standard response, "I've made it to work so I expect you to be here! No show, no pay, second no show, no job!".

Yes, very successful. :blue thumb: Back's still not too good but my end is OK :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I might brave the weather later and go for a walk. No dog to take with me but I may take a cabbage on a lead and pretend it's a cauli! Groan, Groan :roflol:

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Good Morning,

Snowing here :window:, 2C, chilly wind, hopefully it won't last long.
The roads have been gritted, we are lucky to live on a school bus route :fingers crossed:, the council do a good job keeping the road clear, we also have volunteers in the village who spread salt & clear the roads when the weather is really bad :dbgrtmb:

The hens are in the greenhouse shouting! :heehee: My cat is snoring in front of the fire!

Stay safe & warm everyone. :grphg:

              Good afternoon WW'ers

Snow? :dunno: Not even a sniff of the white stuff here. Plenty of mud though :th scifD36: Being Monday I decided to take Oz a little later this morning so the children will have gone to school. Got to the park, children everywhere! Well ok, not *everywhere*, but there were a few of them. They aren't a problem, but Ozzy is partial to a ball or three  Must be half term

Glorious sunshine now, but it was bitterly cold this morning and quite grey.

@liliana - hope your car gets sorted. How on earth did you manage to break your toe? Hope you are pain free soon :grphg:

@shiney - glad your entertaining went well. I was going to sneak in through the back (well, you had so many guests you wouldn't have noticed an extra one :heehee: ). Hope you find some back ease soon.

@Beckie76 - glad your romantic Waitrose meal was a success - ooooh, I love tiramisu *nom nom nom*

Mr "M" redeemed himself following Milk Gate yesterday ... he bought me a Peace Lily :roflol: Now, unless he is reading my posts on here (but, I don't tell him about GC :th scifD36: :mute: ) he couldn't possibly have known that was on my wish list; lucky me) :hapydancsmil:

Healing vibes for all who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

Have a good evening everyone and don't lick the windows in the morning :hate-shocked:

                  Aloha everyone,

Can't stay at computer at the moment. My back has got quite bad and have a chiropractor coming on Thursday. Mrs Shiney has been massaging it, which helps.

                  Keep well :blue thumb:

                      Morning all:spinning:

                      Flipping freezing here this morning:cool:

Well, not good news about the car, the garage reckons it's the gear box, (only 33k
on the clock) and the brake housing is a little loose. :hate-shocked: :mute::mute: As I have to get some free
work done at Honda in Newbury, I am going for a second opinion.

My toe is still throbbing, off to doctors for other reasons today, so I shall get
                      her to look again.

Busy, busy today... Doctor's at 8.30, then a coffee meeting with carers team at 10, then
                      at 11.30, craft class... :phew:

I shall need alie down after all that.:snooze:

Well have a good one, wrap up warm, and don't lick any icy metal today. :snorky:

                        Aloha everyone,

                        Good luck @liliana :grphg:

It's a bit on the nippy side out there at -4C - but the sun is coming up to brighten up the day.

My back hasn't got any worse this morning but I need assistance with getting out of a chair! :old: Walking isn't too bad but any for of bending is agony. It was bending that caused the trouble as I was doing a lot of weeding. I can usually do that, within limits, but I stupidly started weeding/clearing where I needed to lean forward as well, as I was clearing the flower bed under the big Corylus contorta. Three quarters of an hour of doing that was stupid  but the bed looks good :blue thumb:

Ah well! I'll struggle off to bridge this afternoon and will probably forget about the pain whilst I'm playing.

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

                            Good morning everyone,

Lovely photo WOO. Lili, sorry about the car hope you get a better second opinion. Also hope you get some help with you poorly toe. 'M' glad you got your peace lily!

Must get Amber out into the cold but lovely sun which is coming up. I shall have to wrap up warm, my joints do not like the cold in any way, but then they do not like the rain either so just have to put up with them. Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
                            God Bless.:wub2:

                              :hapydancsmil: Goooooooooood morning!! :hapydancsmil:

The sun is shining and pushing away the morning mist.

Went to our local garden club yesterday evening and signed up for a trip to RHS Wisley next month; never visited there before so it should be an interesting outing.

@shiney - you have my sympathies with your back. The worst I have had is sciatica and that is bad enough. Hope the chiropractic can bring you some relief and special thoughts for Mrs Shy Knees arms and shoulders with all that massaging :grphg:

@Zigs - good luck at your new job :ccheers:

@liliana - those car repairs sound expensive! Hope the Dr sorts you out good and proper today so you can enjoy your meetings and get a good nights sleep.

@moyra - hope you have an enjoyable walk with Amber and your joints don't complain too loudly. As for the peace lily (thank you) ... it is his sense of humour :heehee:

@wiseowl - lovely shot of the sunrise and I really like the composition :blue thumb:

I bought some sweet pea seeds last night so I need to get on and organise planting those. Wondering how to cobble together a make shift cold frame  wonder if a thick cardboard box with a piece of clear, rigid plastic over the top will work? It's either that or a trip into the loft to get the old fish tank down :dunno:

Double dose of healing vibes for those in need of them today and miles of smiles to all xxMxx
