It is one degree F. here. bitter cold at 6 AM. My one lonely outside cat (refuses to come inside) has her heating pad in her house turned to the top number and fluffy blankets in there too. water pan on a heater for her to drink. It would have been her brother Panther out there with her. She is ok this morning, put her food out for her. . Gave her a good petting which she accepts. The other three are smart, they are in the warm garden room.

We're are at -24c/-10f but there doesn't appear to be a whiff of any breeze out there. We're going up to 12f and even warmer tomorrow!

Wall to wall sunshine today and most of the snow that fell has now melted. It was positively warm in the sunshine, just lovely and such a change from no stop b rain that we had for about 2 months. Sun disappearing and expect it will be a cold 1 tonight but no wind so won't feel that cold.

2C, windstill, and yesterdays snow is melting. Very nice as the temperature is predicted to go down to zero overnight. Anyone fancy a bit of ice skating? :)

Yes it was @silu. Surprisingly it recovered and is growing very well now. I'll have to take a picture of it. :)

Lovely sunny winters day today . We took Molly to Wigan Mesnes park for a mud free walk . She chased the pigeons and ducks at the pond , and wisely just looked at the Canada Geese ( a bit of a big bird ! ) Had a cup of chocolate at the coffee shop. A good day :blue thumb:

It's again be a day of cloudy skies with a fair amount of blue in it. The temperature never topped 41f with a stiff breeze making it feel like 31f:hate-shocked: We've had no rain or snow, as yet, but it's fairly cloudy with some clear areas. I set up the Observatory again for tonight but the seeing is not that brilliant with Stars looking unclear and fuzzy. The Moon, however, is in it's half stage and it's great to look at the Mountains, ridges, craters and other features!!:hapydancsmil: Right now the temperature is 31f and the pressure reading is 1018mbs.:coffee::snork:

A slight frost with us this morning, now lovely sunshine.

Watch out for tonight, it's due to be the coldest night of the winter so far.

That wouldn't surprise me if it's the case here too. Absolutely gorgeous atm with brilliant sunshine and not a breath of wind =s severe frost tonight. Hoping my newly planted Galtonia bulbs (in pots in unheated greenhouse) will be ok. Only had them about 2 weeks so won't be impressed if I don't see them flower at least once!
