      BONUS!!! Tie to bamboo canes = instant scarecrows for your seedlings :thumbsup:

      I'm 'shopping at home' for seeds this year. Never did get to use all that I had last year so I need to go through what I've got and use up those.

      Actually, I'm determined to buy as little as I can get away with. I'd like the garden to look nice, but there are expenses on the home front which need to take priority. So, quite a nice little challenge for gardening 2016 :heehee:

        Had to take the jalopy out for a run and did a cheeky detour to the nursery :whistle:

        Lithodora Heavenly Blue, Saxifraga Arendsii White Carpet and Sagina Subulata for my new alpine trough and a Pieris Mountain Fire for ... somewhere.

                      Ordered my first plants of the year off eBay. Couple of Hydrangea macrophylla 'Love' and one 'Romance'. Not being soppy, just liked the look of them. I really want a 'Wedding Gown' but can't find one in this country :frown:

                            It's not often that I buy plants as I prefer to grow everything from seed but our local horticultural society had a talk by Bob Brown (Cotswold Garden Flowers) last night and I snapped up a couple of gems;
                            Fessia (Scilla) hohenackeri..............

                              Hi Longk,

                              I specially like the Fritillary, it looks a lovely salmony colour, much softer than the usual red/orange/yellow :)

                              I notice from the label that he's from Badsey, not far from me, does he do mail order ?
