Good afternoon fellow WW'ers and those who browse :spinning:

Hurrah! The sun is playing hide and seek with seek winning at the moment

Patience, patience, patience :grphg: Hope all goes well with Natalie's appointment today :fingers crossed:
Great news about your MIL, she's a fast healer! She must be thrilled to be having her staples out soon.
Save me the blackberry ones *nom-nom-nom*

Now that is a great idea! Wish someone would do that around here ... I'm still doing the EU hokey-cokey :rolleyespink:
It is like that most mornings and it is one of those sounds which makes me take a deep breath and feel grateful for nature. This morning I was having a long soak, eyes closed, just ... listening! Fab!!!
:hate-shocked: I don't know if I could sleep in a room with windows tight shut. Have to have it open, even if just a crack, so that some fresh air is circulating

I'm making a small white loaf for Mr "M" to take to work with him tomorrow so he can have some toast for his breakfast. Haven't made a small loaf in this bread machine yet, so I hope it turns out ok (I'll know in half an hour :heehee: ). If it is successful, I'll have to play around with some recipes so I can ring the changes for him. He'll be the smug one munching away while his colleagues drool :heehee:

Righto, onwards and upwards: healing vibes for all who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

              Thanks @wiseowl @moyra :blue thumb:

Unfortunately it's not getting on very well. Sitting in any position for more than half an hour makes it very painful and awkward to get up again. I tried lying on the settee during the night and managed to doze off for about 45 minutes. It then took me 20 minutes to get up off the settee and I was in considerable pain for a couple of hours afterwards. So I spent most of the night walking around the lounge and watching TV. It doesn't hurt much whilst walking around but I'm a bit wary about going outside and letting the cold get to my back.

              Another treatment tomorrow.

                    Morning all :spinning:

A bright sunny day here, though not enough to melt the hard frost we had last night.

Well, yesterday was eventful, had an afternoon appointment with the Pain Clinic in Reading.

My Fibromyalgia and back pain has got so much worse, :old: that my doctor thought I
should have more intervention. :help: I am now to have my pain tablets reduced to incorporate
a newer tablet. Also I am going to be put on an intravenous drip for Lidocaine which takes
2-3 hours :yikes: This will relax everything down completely :yay: So hopefully this will take
away all the pain and stinging.:fingers crossed:

Needless to say, I am supposed to take it easy.:snooze:

I am so sorry to hear about the pain some of us are in. I do hope that the treatments work. And work quickly!

We had rain, then freezing rain and now it is snowing. A good day to stay in and get more work done.

                      Please be careful everyone!

                        Good afternoon WW'ers

                        Late to report today
You're a poet and you didn't know it! Psst! Who is EU :dunno:

I'll have my fingers crossed that it brings you a good measure of relief :grphg:

:phew: Hopefully all his hard work will pay off and after your sweet talking on Sunday he'll begin to be more gentle with himself. Wish him luck from me for the show!

Fingers crossed for you too :fingers crossed:

Brr!! Definitely a stay at home day Lori. Keep warm and hydrated.

Today I had a later walk than usual and it was lovely. Barely a soul to be seen (which is how I like it much of the time) and Oz was busy charging around like a puppy. We went for a woodland walk today and it was so special hearing a woodpecker preparing its nest. To my surprise we stumbled across a mass of snowdrops - beautiful! Nearby there were a couple of very brave bluebells opening; early, I know, but still gorgeous :spinning:

Had a very long chat with #1 on the telephone when I got back and it is such a relief to hear that he has turned a corner after last week.

Enjoy the rest of your day.
Healing vibes to all who need them.
Miles of smiles to one and all

                          Thanks.

I went to the chiropodist (he had to help me with my shoes and socks! :old: ). Then I went on to have a treatment as they had a cancellation.

I had been feeling a reasonable amount better by mid morning. By lunchtime, after the treatment, I was in a lot of pain but that has now eased up somewhat. Another treatment tomorrow. :fingers crossed:

                              Aloha everyone,

Very frosty but the sun is making an appearance.

My back is extremely uncomfortable but beginning to ease up as I move around a bit. I have to take Mrs Shiney to the station as she's off to the Big City today. Not looking forward to my treatment if it's going to set me back again. Wusses of the world unite! :heehee:

                              Have a great day
