    Good morning fellow GC WW'ers

@shiney - thank goodness you have managed some sleep! You know well enough that sleep is a body's healing time. Not sure if it's a blessing or otherwise that your pain in mobility has been switched for a reduction in pain in your recliner but if it means some sleep, then I think its a blessing. Good luck today with the x-ray and I really hope you can manage to get there.

Finally managed to get a whole night of sleep myself last night :phew: It's horrible when you have things preying on your mind and even when you have settled down, the mind continues to trundle on. Not quite sure what was different last night, but my brain finally gave up for a bit :heehee:

The day is warming up and I'm out shortly with a dog walking buddy. Think we're visiting the other woods today so it will be interesting to see if the bluebells there are poking out (or any other wildlife goodies for that matter).

Healing vibes for all who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

      Morning all.

@shiney Hope things soon improve for you, I've had a bit of back trouble in the past, so I know how annoying it can be.

I've got a fun day lined up. Doing the housework this morning, then in to hospital this afternoon for carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. It's a relatively minor procedure which only takes about 15 or 20 minutes, so should be home in time for tea. :fingers crossed: Might need Mrs Trunky to cut the food up for me though.

It does mean gardening activities will be curtailed for a while though, so guess I'll just have to spend more time here on GC. Oh well, never mind. :)

Stay safe and warm everyone, hope all those feeling under the weather soon get well.

@Trunky - good luck with your surgery. I've heard carpal tunnel can be extremely painful so you'll no doubt notice the relief sooner rather than later.
Oh no - we have to see *more* of you? Oh ok then, you can stay a while :heehee:
Mrs T might cut up your food for you, but don't push it and ask her to feed it to you as well :roflol:

The sun is beaming on our frozen yard. It is -8c/-18f and not expected to rise above freezing but the clear blue skies are just lovely! By the time the expected clouds arrive, I will be sitting at the hospital with my sister waiting for her cast to be removed and hopefully her not needing another.

I feel so badly for you @shiney.

@Trunky I am sure your operation will enable you to have pleasant times when gardening this summer.

I have luckily fully recovered from my back injury and have been able to get back up to level 19 of my RCAF XBX excercises (sans running in place). That is the goal level for 40-45 year olds. They don't have one for the over 60's but I figure I need to up my goal to compensate for all of the Christmas cake I ate, the jujube breakfasts and having dessert with every meal! Need to drop a little of the winter blubber too.

            Have a wonderful day all.

              Evening later people :)

Been busy this week, even more jobs coming in :phew:

Good job, car is going to cost £1000+ to get thru the mot :yikes:

Had to come home early today though, pulled rib muscles don't go well with roofing

Unfortunately, things seem to be getting worse but I'm sure that it must be the start of them getting better. :)

                        Good Morning,

It looks like it's going to be a nice day here, I've not ventured out yet this morning, Kev let the hens out at 6.30, they were shouting!

Jenny wren is dashing along the back fence looking for grubs :imphrt:

I have a hair cut booked this afternoon, I don't feel like it with my cold but I'm not one to let people down so I shall put my best foot forward & get on with it! Anyway the sit down & natter will do me good :dbgrtmb:

I'm going into work later but first I'm going to strip the bed, give it a good Hoover & Hoover underneath, I need to catch up with all my household chores :phew:

I hope everyone who's feeling a bit under the weather is feeling brighter today :dbgrtmb:.

Happy gardening/happy resting to you all :) enjoy your day :dbgrtmb:

                          Aloha everyone,

It's a bright morning out there.

I wish all of you that are poorly all the best. :grphg: No improvement with me yet.

I'm not able to do much so the gardening is getting neglected. I've also had to drop out of my county league match on Monday as I can't sit in a car long enough to get there. I'm just in pain but Mrs Shiney seems even more worried than I am about all this.

Keep well and have a great day

                          Aloha!
