    Morning all.

Bit of a restless night for me, once the local anesthetic wore off the hand started giving me some serious jip. I ended up wandering about the house in the early hours trying not to disturb Mrs Trunky. :th scifD36:

I'm normally a good sleeper so not used to that. Got bored and watched some TV for a while, I'd forgotten what strange offerings they put on TV in the dead of night, there was some seriously weird stuff on there. :hate-shocked:

I'm not complaining though (much), there are far worse things to have. I can count myself fortunate to be in good health otherwise, so as my granny used to say, "count your blessings".

Hope those of you feeling poorly are soon on the mend, have a good day, stay safe and warm.

        Good morning WW'ers

If we all carry on like this it will be the Good Moaning thread  :heehee:
        Well done that woman!! :yay:
I'm sure it will and you'll come out feeling *and* looking refreshed
Hope you find some relief with your back today; even a little respite would be something :grphg:
Do take a little extra care of yourself @moyra :grphg:
        :grphg:
Did they give you painkillers and advise you to start taking them *before* the anaesthetic wore off? Hope your find some relief with your hand today :grphg:

As I thought, went to the other woods yesterday with a walking buddy and yes, the bluebells there are also trying to flower. Didn't bother taking a photo of those ones though.

We're not promised much in the way of sunshine today, but it is meant to be dry, so I need to get in the garden while Mr "M" is on rest day and shuffle some stuff around. I do love how he refers to his days off as "rest days" ... almost as if he is trying to send me a subliminal message of some kind  :dunno: Clearly isn't working :roflol: No rest for the wicked :paladin:

Doubling up the healing vibes I'll be sending out today and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

Ah M, snap! My other half refers to his days off as 'rest days' too..he's gone in for a hobble today so can't order him to move or dig things for me ha! My bluebells are all leaf.. no flowers yet!

To all with ailments and mind fog, take it easy.. plenty of tea and a good book to read helps. Currently reading Charles Dowdings veg journal borrowed from the library, am thinking about a no dig bed for the back garden.. all in good time :)

They did indeed @"M". I took some when I went to bed, before the anesthetic had worn off, then slept soundly for a few hours until they both wore off. :ouch1:

I can't do much at the moment, but I'm not that bored yet! :heehee:

Good morning fellow GC WW'ers (and those who lurk)

Still a bit nippy out - brr!

@wiseowl - bet Penny had fun chasing the foxes!
@shiney - I've heard the expression "feathering your own nest" but I think you are taking it just a little too literally

Out for lunch/dinner/main meal later today and may pop into a garden centre (if we take the long route back) depending on how patient Mr "M" is feeling :heehee:

@wiseowl I'm hoping that this morning it's a bit better as it wasn't quite so painful when I got up from an hour in the armchair. It has been taking me about 20 minutes to get upright but this morning it only took five minutes :blue thumb:

Although the pain is lower back it seems to be moving around a bit. That's why I'm pretty sure it's 'just' muscular, but we shan't get the X-ray results until next week.

I think it's a problem with the latissimus dorsi and the erector spinae muscles together with a problem with the Thoracolumber fascia. You did ask!!! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

The pain is manageable, with the help of paracetamol, but the discomfort is very wearing. What I don't like is that I'm counting the time to the next dose!

I have considerable trouble with sitting, and can't lie down. So I'm walking up and down, slowly, for about 22 hours a day. It has been too cold for me to wander outside as I don't want to take the chance of the cold getting to my back.

@"M" I've never seen the pigeons gather together before. :hate-shocked: We have one pair that are always around and another pair that turn up occasionally, but having a giant flock of them sitting in all the big trees is rather unusual.

Keep well and have a great day

                            Aloha!

                              Good morning everyone,

Still feeling rough this morning, didn't have a good night.
If it weren't for Amber I would still be in bed, must get her out right away although she hasn't eaten her breakfast yet.

Hope everyone who is unwell is feeling much better today. Have a good Sunday, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

                                Morning all.

Glad to hear you're feeling a gradual improvement @shiney, hope it continues. :blue thumb:

Similar situation for me at the moment, I'm fairly limited in what I can do at present with only one free hand, so just mooching about the house trying to keep myself occupied. Like you, I can't go outside much, because I can't get warm a fleece or coat on.

The hand is still sore, but not quite as bad as it was yesterday, and I can take the bandages off this evening. :)

Mrs Trunky has gone off paintballing with some work friends today, so I'll have to entertain myself all day, thank goodness for GC!

Hope everyone is feeling fine today, healing thoughts to all those feeling a bit poorly.
