Feb. 29, Happy Saddie Hawkins Day to you all. so far just out of bed. Meeting at 9AM for an hour at work. then reports to work on. Then traveling to a hospital (hour drive) for a group meeting regarding one of my clients and his issues. Then hour and half drive back home (all on the clock).

Got some deliveries done, visited the dentist for a check up (no cavities/issues :) ) and was reading some emails - here is an interesting weeding tool that someone here has invented and thought I might share a pick of ...

the handle is 60" long and apparently gets in between small plants.
Think I'll get one of those!
And back to today. Taking grandson to his buddy's place about 20 minutes from here then will be back in time to avoid the rush hour traffic.

This was an invention of a gardening expert whose family operated nurseries for many generations.

I'm going to try to get one as it looks like a back saver. :)

Went for a wander round the local park again this afternoon. A bit cold and dull, so I popped in to the cafe there and treated myself to a cream tea. :coffee:

Still cold and dull when I came out of the cafe, so had a wander around the woodland areas where it was a little more sheltered. Got rushed and barked at by some bloke's dog, gave him the Trunky stare, whereupon he apologized and gave his dog a good shouting at.

Took a couple of photos while I was there, although the light wasn't great. Nice to get out in the fresh air anyway.

Very nice pictures. I always get a bit of a giggle when I see a picture of greenery (other than evergreens) when reading the word "cold". And of course zone envy!

Not a great day today. Waited in all day for deliveries. My tool trolley hasn't arrived from Amazon and I've now lost hope. Sorted all tools and fixings out and laid them all out in dad's room ready to go into draws of trolley. Just put everything away again as now given up on delivery.

Also waited until 3 for internet hub to turn up and after a bit of hassle, now have connection. Yippee! Been a wasted day and the wind has ripped my fleece protection to bits. Tried to repair but just tearing as I try to get it in place. Not a great day.

Been in meetings all day, about budget cuts to our department and how much we have to save.
By the end of the day my head was massed with all what they talking about, cut this cut that.
