Heavy snow here in Manchester..I love looking out at that. It's a day for a blazing log fire and to get on with my jigsaw puzzle.

@shiney glad you got a diagnoses. I had osteoporosis and have been getting a prolia shot every six months now for the past 4 years. Although the possible side effects list is lengthy, I never had one of them. I also say "used to have osteoporosis" because the shots have worked and I've backed up to only be "at risk" and that being because I have small bones - even dogs wouldn't be much interested :heehee: Anyway, just wanted to tell you there are treatments that do work and work well.:)

I hope everyone stays on the side of caution with all of this snow blowing about.

Morning all. It's a glorious morning here, clear blue sky and plenty of 'fresh' air about.

Hope this day finds you all happy and well, best wishes to those feeling a bit poorly.

The hand is improving gradually, I can do a little more with it each day. It must be healing now, as it's begun the 'itchy' stage. :gaah:

As I have time on my hands, I actually went with Mrs Trunky to 'help' with the shopping this morning. This is a rare event indeed, normally she prefers to do it alone for some reason.

Not sure I was much help really, she definitely wasn't going to let me push the trolley, reasoning that I'm lethal using those things with two hands, let alone one. :snork:

Hope you all have a good day.

                              Aloha everyone,

The sun is trying to come out and get rid of the frost. Yesterday was a record producing sunny day for our solar panels - the best winter sunshine since records began :blue thumb: (My records are three winters long :heehee:.)

I've just watched the BBC4 programme that they had on Thursday night about the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. It was very interesting and covered the part of the holiday that we did the other week - their pictures were better than mine!

                              Enjoy your weekend.

                              Have a great day

                                Morning all.

It's a bright, frosty start here. The forecast for the rest of the day isn't great though, so I'll probably make it a housework day.

Been out and fed the chickens, had a quick look round the garden, admired the sunrise and so on.

Hope everyone is well, have a good day. :)
