Thanks to everybody who submitted pics and voted.

Despite choosing the theme for this month's compo, I failed to submit an entry this month because every time one of my pre-selected choices of images became suitable for an early morning/later trip, there were severe icy conditions and a villager died taking one of those routes, I would've taken at the time I would've taken, just to get a pic.

So I didn't do it.

 

Thank you everyone, that was a surprise considering the quality of entries! There were some excellent photos.
Congrats to Mrs Tea and Sheal for 2nd and 3rd.

I was wondering where you were..... to be honest with Dad being so poorly I really didn't have much time either so I had to post what I could in a short space of time. The Horton Tower photo was when I went out with Mr AB in Wimborne as he was working on site (it has a mobile phone mast inside) and as I didn't have my camera had to take the opportunity with my iPhone! Then we had to shoot back up to Chester.

Horrid to think that someone died taking one of the routes you were thinking of taking yourself... must have been dangerous?

A question for you Woo. Why can't I see my picture please? It looks like X marks the spot. I know it only got third place, but was it that bad?
