@Trunky Good to hear your hand is getting better but you really need to take it easy for a while as you don't want to stress it. :blue thumb:

@wiseowl I'll have to send @Beckie76 over with the oily rag! Wish you better. :grphg:

    @moyra enjoy your day :grphg:

Hope you enjoy your day out in Thetford @Beckie76, good luck with the search for a Rose arch.

If they don't have anything suitable, here's a link to another local suppliers who do a huge range of timber products, including several types of arch. We got our new shed from there, we're very happy with it, and I've had various other timber products from them in the past too.

            Good day everyone
More yawn than wakey for me. The heater in the greenhouse kept cutting out - guess when the central heat cycled at the same time, it won the battle for the natural gas. But my alarms kept me jumping up nearly every hour to go down and relight it. Will look at what damage has happened a little later.

5 episodes of Corrie are starting in about 45 minutes so when it starts, I will be potting up more seedlings - during commercial breaks - :snork:

Have a safe day everyone and Happy Mum's Day to all of you Mums. (It isn't Mother's day here until May)

              Evening all :)

Our Zigs internet is currently suffering from a sense of humour failure, so he is offline for the time being. Hopefully he will be back with us shortly.

In the meantime, if anyone needs to get a message to him, feel free to PM it to me and I will text is on to him.

                Good Evening,
Rose arch mission completed , we haven't put it up yet that's a job for another day :dbgrtmb: Thanks for sharing the link for the local supplier @Trunky they certainly have some lovely things :dbgrtmb:

I took your advice @moyra, I had a slice of coffee & walnut cake :hapydancsmil:.

After we went to Thetford garden centre Kev took me to Fakenham Garden Centre, that was quite nice they had some nice bird baths & their plants were good quality although nothing took my fancy!

I went to visit my mum & my two uncles (they both have birthdays this week), my niece & youngest brother were there so that was really nice :dbgrtmb:.

I hope you've all had an enjoyable day :)

                        Aloha everyone,

My back has improved and I've come off the pain killers

I did a very little amount of work in the garden yesterday :blue thumb: - under the watchful eye of Mrs Shiney, Sarafi and the pheasants! :heehee:

I gently trimmed 100ft of lawn edge (I'd been given a maximum of 20 minutes allowance by SWMBO). It was all work with me standing upright and using the long handled shears. The picking up of the debris was left for the staff to do  :roflol:

If the sunshine remains and it melts the frost and ice I shall go for a walk :) and I'll do some more edge trimming.

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

Chilly & bright here, we had a dusting of snow over night, the sun is already melting that :dbgrtmb:.

The hens are huddled up in a sunny spot in the garden. :wub2:

                            Morning all,

Had a very senior moment today :old: Got up at 6.30 am, drove to Newbury where my
Honda service centre is, as I was driving along, listening to the radio, still talk
about Mothering Sunday, remembered it was the 7th of March......... My appointment
was for the 14th of March :yikes::wallbanging::wallbanging::wallbanging::wallbanging:. Oh well, did not make it a wasted
journey, filled up with petrol, first time since the 17th of December.:snorky: What a plonker...
OH was very surprised to see me back so early.

Right first thing, large cup of coffee, it's flipping freezing, but a beautiful blue
sky, warming up the conservatory a treat, will go out there in a while, got to do a bit of pricking out.

Then I shall have a good rest, as did not sleep very well last night, just
worrying that the alarm would not go off.

                            Make it a good Monday.:imphrt:

                              Morning all.

A light dusting of snow here this morning too.

Glad to hear your improvement is continuing @shiney. I'm sure you found it most satisfying to get out there and do a little in the garden again. Glad you're being properly supervised too, they're rather good at that aren't they? :heehee:

I'm going to try a little light gardening today too (unsupervised ), I've done virtually nothing in the garden for the past ten days after the hand op. I'll start myself off gently with just sowing a few small trays of seeds in the greenhouse and clearing out some of the winter salad plants which have started to bolt.

Hope you are all well, have a good day and don't eat too many pies this week:

I am so happy to hear that we are all starting to mend :hapfeet:

My temperature alarm only went off 4 times last night so I got a good deal sleep more than the night before and I'm feeling much more energetic. :)

Please have a productive and careful day all :)
