    Thank you shiney! :grphg:

I certainly hope not! I'd have to chain myself to my house.. I have nowhere else to go, or rather: there is nowhere else in the world that I'd rather be!

@MrsTea, If there's any talk of deporting you we will set up a protest march in London! :paladin:
Can you imagine the front page of the Daily Wail? GC group marched through London with spades over their shoulders to save member! :heehee:. Joking aside I'm sure you don't have anything to worry about my friend :grphg:

Becky76, can you set up a protest march in Stockholm to deport me back to the UK? Sometimes, I think its time I returned! :snork:

I think it's a tiny but vocal minority that is calling to 'get foreigners out'. I think the vast majority of British people would rather see the back of those extreme right wing people than all the 'foreigners'. As has been said, we're all of foreign descent anyway. If you're half British and half German, then given that the very epitome of ancient englishness, the Saxons, were so called because they migrated from Saxony, in modern Germany, then you're probably more British than most anyway.

@shiney , So where do you get sufficient information from ? If before we make a proper judgement we need info correct to 4 decimal places , we ain't going to get anywhere.
I do use statistics heavily in my job , and I have been known to modify a graph axis now and then to show a prettier picture. I did find that the BBC report did clearly state what data it was displaying in its 5 graphs.

@HarryS That's always the problem. It's a matter of listening/reading what they deign to give us and try to interpret it. So the more arguing they do in public and on the media gives us a little more time to try and pick out the occasional truth. So, who's cynical? :heehee:

I can usually pick out the figures from the misdirections they give but how significant those figures are has to be interpreted by me. Sometimes incorrectly.

For the In/Out discussions I'm still trying to organise a seminar with the local MP and a 'name' who has the opposite opinion. How successful I'll be, I don't know. :noidea:

By then we may have been inundated with so much data that it will be even more confusing.

Don't worry ! Dave has it covered !!! They will miraculously produce huge amounts of money for new doctors surgeries and funding for new doctors . There will be new schools with new teachers. Houses will be built on new land. New dentists new everything !!!!

Believe that and you will believe Dave and his cronies....

Only if people don't vote ! Talking to a friend on the EU debate last weekend. He is extremely vociferous on the subject but refuses to vote just as he did in the lady general election

He is not alone either if we look at the actual turnout... Yet so many can't be bothered .

Good afternoon @Charlie996 I always vote on everything, its just that I made my decision quite awhile ago ,so my above post although said with tongue in cheek, means that the sooner a decision is reached, then that's it,and I can carry on gardening until it is time to vote on June 23rd

And a fine afternoon to you ! My comment was not aimed at you it was just my thoughts when people sat whatever will be will be.

Let's hope that people do stand up and be counted in what is I think the most important referendum in our lifetimes..

I'm sorry if anyone thought I was trying to redirect this thread, I wasn't.

It's just that I don't think our "green and pleasant land " is anywhere near full to bursting.

I reckon our area could easily accommodate another 20'000 people or so.
Near me we have an old factory site that is approximately half a mile wide by a mile and half long, how many houses, new schools, doctors surgeries etc would fit on that site I wonder. There are another 3 sites like that here, and there is a piece of land that used to be a railway with yards, factories etc alongside it that is over 4 miles long.

This is all in a council area with a population of approx 100,000 , so what wasted space due to council inefficiencies is available in larger cities such as Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester etc.

                                Sorry @Beckie76
