    Aloha everyone,

Also wet and windy but none of them foreign Gauls that Woo is getting. :heehee:

@Lucy.P I've never been to Manchester because I can't swim. :snork:

Feeling somewhat better today :blue thumb: and off for another treatment this morning. As it's raining I've decided that I won't do any mowing, hedge cutting or digging. :snork:

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

I think I will settle down and watch episodes of A-Z Of TV Gardening later today, I love that series.

Morning all. Wet and windy here too, looks like I'll have to find some indoor jobs today.

Been outside to feed the chickens, they don't look hugely impressed with the weather either. :chicken: I'll pop out there again later and chuck a few handfuls of grain down in their hut, they love scratching about in the bedding for it, so they'll have something to keep them occupied and stay dry. This usually means most of the bedding will end up outside their hut by the end of the day, so I'll have to top that up this evening.

Hope you are all well, stay safe and dry if you can.

Good Morning everyone, not going to be a nice day for anyone by the looks of it. I have to take Amber out but dreading getting wet and muddy and bringing it all in on my mobility walker's wheels. I might stick to crutches, not so easy to get around on but less mud to come in. Wish Amber would just relieve herself on the patio which is under the two gazebos so easier to clean up! But she would miss her sniffs!

Have a good day all, nobody overdo things and stay warm and dry and above all safe and well of course. God bless.

                Good Morning,

It's raining, it's pouring, my cat is snoring! :heehee: I though we needed a song to cheer us all up on this grotty day!

The hens are looking a bit grumpy! I will take them some warm mash shortly (that's hen feed mixed with a little warm water not mash as in potato!)

I've got a few more daffodils starting to open their little heads :), they are such a happy looking flower!

Winston my Wagtail has appeared back in the garden, he comes every year about this time, last year he brought his wife & later on their brood :dbgrtmb:

I'm looking forward to being able to get in the garden, the nights are pulling out & the mornings are getting lighter, this is such a wonderful time of year :hapydancsmil:

                Enjoy your day folks :hapfeet:

                  Good day everyone,
We are looking at cloudy skies and perhaps a sprinkle or two.

I hope everyone stays safe and dry.

Morning all. It's a bright sunny start here, think I'll take myself out for a good brisk walk today. :)

Hope nobody got washed away yesterday, and everyone is well. Have a good day.

                        Aloha everyone,

@Trunky according to our weather map you're going to be sending the sunshine down to us later this morning, after you've had your walk.

Yesterday's treatment went OK and was told I had improved a lot :). Also had a phone call from my osteopath, who had received a copy of my X-rays, and he said it's not as bad as the hospital report made out - and explained them whilst I was sitting here looking at them on my screen. Didn't understand a lot of what he said but he finished by saying that I have a slightly degenerated back problem but it's fairly typical for a man thirty years younger that has back trouble .

His conclusion:- be very careful when bending (actually, when getting up from bending), don't lift too heavy weights (he laughed when I asked him if that meant I had to sit down to pee ;)), but I can start gardening again but no bending work for now. He said that I can mow as the handles on the mower are high enough for me to stand upright but to either get Mrs Shiney to empty the box or only let it get a quarter full. Though I'm not quite up to this :dancy:

Off to sort out Barry (and the Council benefits office) this morning :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

                            Good Afternoon,

Gracious I've just stopped for morning coffee break  ! Silly morning or maybe silly me for trying to do too much :thud:

I'm really really excited :hapydancsmil: I have a blue tit showing a lot of interest in the crack under the workshop roof, I'm hoping he will bring his wife this afternoon & they will move in! :dbgrtmb: I will keep you up to date :) (hubby's passing words to me this morning were....'that imagination of your is wonderful' then he laughed & said 'it's the small things isn't it wife!' Cheeky devil  but he's right! )

I'm delighted to hear your back is on the mend @shiney :dbgrtmb:, please take it easy over the coming days & weeks

I have to buy a swimming costume this afternoon, I think it's going to be a trip to M&S then a detour to Wilko's ......just for a look  I will do that in my dinner break then back to work.

I hope you are all having a good day.

Take care & look after yourselves :grphg:

Good day all. I have been up for a few hours but told myself to get my business accounting up to date and tidy the spare room closet before company comes next week. Got a teen aged granddaughter coming for a few days during their March school break. Both parents are at work all day so I guess we could interpret this stay as me playing Granbo :paladin: :snorky:

It's rainy and mild. Well, I guess it would need to be mild else it would be snowing

Have a safe day everyone and keep on the mend!:)

:hapfeet: Wonderful!!!! :yahoo: I'll keep my fingers crossed for you :fingers crossed:

One of my bird boxes has a brood on the go (blue tits). I can even hear the chirping of hungry mouths from my kitchen window! Now, if I look at the box when I'm standing in my kitchen, the birds *see* me and won't go in to feed their babies; but (and this is totally illogical), if I sit on the bench by the back door - nearer than standing in my kitchen - they will happily dart in and out of the box to feed their youngsters  :dunno: :heehee:

@CanadianLori - "Grambo" :roflol: :roflol: :roflol: Love it!!
