      Good day everyone,
We moved our clocks forward last night so now for those in the UK, we're only 4 hours apart!

I plan to get the rest of the house hoovered this morning (got to use the low priced energy time slot) and then hope the sun will invite me to come outside to play a little before our usual Sunday visit to my friend in the home followed by a short pub drop by.

I hope everyone stays safe and that you all have a bright, dry day!

        Good morning (just!) WW'ers

Gorgeous sunshine outside today, which made the morning walk pure joy for both of us. Ozzy took an interest in the two men putting up the goal nets as we went through the rec., and I could see he was going to get closer. So, being a good dog mummy, I growled "leave it!" and one of the guys visibly jumped out of his skin  turned, saw Oz and then said to me, "He made me jump, he did!" :heehee: (erm no, you jumped at my "Leave!" command :roflol: ). Ho hum, it worked that's all I can say

Been out in the garden for a sit down in the arbour and a cup of coffee. Well, "sit" and "coffee" take on a whole new meaning when the weather is so inviting ... "perched a moment" and "a sip" of coffee is far more like it :th scifD36: Oh look, the solanum crispum is looking a bit floppy - and no one wants a floppy crispum :nonofinger: - I'll just get a bit of bakers twine to hold it up a bit ...

... two hours later ... :snorky:

I did treat myself to a gardening magazine when I passed the shop this morning, so I'm going to have a good flick through that later. But, for now ... oh look, that hebe needs a bit of a trim ...

... healing vibes and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

        @CanadianLori - what? No Corrie-fest today?

@Beckie76 - you might want to invest in a grow bag ... seeing as you've lost 2 inches ;)

Yes, I'm watching it in between hoovering and washing the floors and getting bread on the go :spinning:

Been a glorious day today but a shame about the cold wind. Steve has spiked the lawn to try to drain it. Have never been so late in giving it the first cut. Am cooking some pork cutlets for his dinner. Have just given Amber her last walk of the day. Bought her a dozen new tennis balls as she seems to have lost all her old ones. She was so chuffed with them all. Have tucked all but two away and will wait to see how long they last her. Have a lovely evening everyone, I am off to finish cooking dinner.
            God bless. :wub2:

              Good Morning everyone,

No visitors since I posted yesterday evening, hope you have all overdone it in the garden.
Another Monday! Cold wind again today to keep the temperatures down, shame could do with some of that warmth the rest of the country is getting. Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
              God bless. :wub2:

                    Gooooooood morning!!! :snorky:

I think I did ... just a little bit .... ... a twinge here and a twinge there; but nothing that is going to stop me today
And making my heart sing: Spring! :spinning:

                    Indeed!
Except ... the birds idea of "dawn" isn't quite on the same timeline as ours :heehee: Some of them were having a good ole sing-song at 2am this morning! :snorky:

It's cloudy here and, according to the BBC weather is set to stay that way until later this afternoon. The temperature isn't all that either :th scifD36: But, I have some sunflower seeds that can be planted out and I discovered a packet of wildflower seeds when I was sorting out the office so I'm going to sprinkle those and hope for the best (they are out of date, but I've never let that put me off :heehee: )

Of the three packets of sweetpeas I started in my sprouter, one is being particularly stubborn in getting started  They are going to be potted up to see if that makes any difference at all :fingers crossed:

Healing vibes for all who need/want them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

Morning all. There's a decidedly chilly east wind out there this morning, but it's brightening up nicely. :)

I was thinking of doing a bit of lawn edging today, trying to gradually bring the hand back into full use again. Or then again I might take myself out for a good long walk to get warmed up ... decisions, decisions. :dunno:

Had a look around oldest daughter's new house yesterday, it's a lovely little cottage with bags of character; lots of low ceilings, odd shapes and angles everywhere and so on. While we were there, they had a new fridge-freezer delivered. The tiny front porch, with its two doors slightly offset from each other, meant that both doors had to be taken off the hinges before they could get the fridge inside. :snork:

They've got a decent sized garden with a lovely old south facing red brick wall running along one side, and a little greenhouse as well. Daughter is already picking my brains for advice on growing some of her own herbs and veg, knew I'd come in useful sooner or later. :old:

Hope everyone is well, have a good day.

We went to a local nursery yesterday and then straight on to Anglesey Abbey - and a good day was had by all :blue thumb:. The sun shone all the time and it's working hard now as well.

Gosh! You are a late one ... your cousins here are out and about much, much earlier (even at weekends)! :heehee:
I'm pretty convinced your cousins have a young 'un or two in the making because I'm almost certain I can hear them at night ordering their home deliveries :wub2:
