None too warm out there yet and still very cloudy. Hope no body is overdoing the gardening as there is plenty of time yet, easy does it.

Morning all

Well a day of mixed fortunes for a Monday.

Took my car in to the garage for it's checkup. Gearbox problems, knocking under
my feet, my door sticks. 2 free airbags. Took it in for 8am, car stayed in overnight,
they were an engineer down (probably drunk too much over the weekend) .Gearbox
drain not done, and knocking noise not yet investigated.


On the good side, a BIG box arrived OH said 'what have you ordered now ?' Well,
to be honest...... but that's another story. After much pulling, another box inside..........
I had won another contest Inside : An adults full length white dressing gown.
There's more.. white slippers there's more... 4, yes, 4 different types of Balsen
chocolate biscuits, There's more.. 4 biscuit coasters. Oh, I forgot a box containing 4
types of tea. Did I mention I had entered a 'Good Morning' SKY/Balsen competition.

My husband could not believe it.

Well, after all that excitement, let's see what Tuesday brings.

It's a gorgeous sunny morning here today so I'm eager to get out and prodding - seems I have a Herb Robert infestation which needs sorting

It is still dark here but I believe I noticed one of the cameras picking up rain drops. Got company coming (Grambo duty starts at 8ish) so I'd best get my skates on and tidy up a little.

Nice day here, good garden working temperature......where am I at work oh well at least it's tea break!

Not a great deal going on my end, no sign of Mr Blue tit moving into my bird box , but I do have Mr & Mrs Blackbird who have some young nearby, I've see them with their beaks full of worms!

Morning all. Not much to report here, it's dull and cold with a chilly north-easterly wind.

Just been out for a fairly brisk walk to the shops, might tackle a bit more edging in the garden later on.

Aww, how wonderful. If you should see a packet of mealworms in the poundshop places, soak a few for the babies Mind you, your girls will fight tooth and nail to nab them for themselves, so best do it before you let the girls out

Well, I've just come home from an invigorating walk (just in time too, it's now clouding over and I think I felt a spot of rain in the air).
On the down side, our local shop is shuttered up - some greedy, selfish,lawless perisher/s broke into it during the night It is the only shop in the village and we have our share of elderly people who rely on that shop for their daily paper/milk/bread/social interaction Their selfish actions have a serious knock on affect on the whole community; oooh, if I'd just been on one of my "early" walks and spotted them ...
On the up side, Mr Postie left a package for me, neatly tucked in a recess, so I wouldn't have to chase around for it ... not as big as @liliana 's booty, but a little treasure just the same from a kind hearted soul (sort of restored the balance somewhat).

Sorry, been busy past few days

Good news is the tests are all back, not got cancer, hiv or hepatitis

Got to find something else to die of now

Bad news is I got no where to live come easter

 

@"M" dried mealworms are always in stock in this house! I buy them in bulk from Amazon! I've been putting plenty out! I hope MIL will pick up some live maggots from the fishing tackle shop this week if not I will order some live mealworms on line....nothing's too much for my hens, cat & wildbirds & my hubby of course!
