What happened to the gardening!?

I do all my forum browsing and posting using my iPad. I use the timeline which I hope captures every post in order. Some I skip but most I read and always learn something new everyday. I think the friendliness and knowledge on here is second to none and the variety of posts, people and their locations makes this place a great enjoyment for me on a daily basis. For that, I thank you all.

 

Agree @Rustler. Last year I used a different gardening forum before I joined this one; there was no games, conversations, smilies, banter, jokes or even a friendly tone, there was one answer threads and wording of posts was a joke.. mentioned glyphosate once, all hell broke loose, was told go join a different forum and learn to be a proper gardener... LOL. I haven't come across one bit of bitchyness on here, if people think they have offended they apologize and its lovely. I joined in Oct and could see it was a well used and loved forum even after summer had died down, specifically because the threads on here were different and updated, like the games (even though I don't play them), people asking for others opinions, plenty of pics of their own gardens/ plants and tbh it is nice to see people talking about other things when you haven't got the energy to do any gardening yourself, glad I joined this one over others

 

Well I do hope you gave yourself a good pat on the back to include yourself when you mention "all"; because if it wasn't for the lovely members, of which you are one, it wouldn't be a pleasant forum

Yeah, yeah, I know the "Admin" make a thing of *doing* stuff on here ... but, let's be honest, apart from swigging tea down in the potting shed, scoffing biscuits, forgetting to put money in the meter from time to time .... oh and let's not forget the occasional spanner in the works ...


... they don't actually *do* much, do they!

i also wish the forum was busy all year as it gets boring through the winter months, but spring is here now so hopefully this great place will pick up once again
