Morning all. Dull and cold with just a hint of drizzle here this morning, looks like a day for staying in and doing the housework.

Had a good day yesterday. Finished the last of the edging in the garden, went out for lunch and a walk with an old friend of many years standing, then another little gardening session in the afternoon sunshine, tidying up the herbaceous border.

Finished off the day by going round to sister-in-law's to sample her birthday cake (and to wish her a happy birthday of course ).

Just back from checking everything and thankfully all OK Very hazy at the mo so looks to be another good day hope its a good one for all the GC ERS too

Gosh, you are a hero Send you sister-in-law birthday wishes from GC; birthdays are so important (I think).

Well, not too sure what the day will bring but I have plenty to do to keep me out of mischief. All the girls are in full lay now so I'm going to take some eggs to a couple who live up the road. They moved in a month or so after us and have two dogs that Ozzy likes to play with. Unfortunately, one of them had an accident when travelling in a London cab and is still recuperating, so it'll be an opportunity to have a natter and see how he's doing and if he needs any help.

Forecast for another heavy cloud day today we need the wind to change direction, I think!

I've been out and checked my new border and there are no signs of the blood, fish and bone meal attracting anything untoward during the night

Woken early today by a "pocket call" from #1 son as he walked home from work but that's ok, more time to enjoy the day There is a Spring Fair going on today so I think I'll be popping in to that later, maybe a plant stall (?) I'm not sure.

Hoping to get a bit done in the garden today, lots to do, just a question of what the recovering hand and the weather will let me do. Mrs Trunky has offered to help out, now what can I give her to do...?
