Today I Am Grateful For.....

Today I am grateful for Webmaster solving the lagging issue here and have thanked him.

 

Today I am grateful for the fig wasp visiting my garden this year (they didn't last year) and for being able to pluck and eat my first ripe fig.

 

Today I am grateful for....not being a refugee.

It would seem that today's photo of a drowned Syrian boy - shown widely in the media - has finally catalysed significant developments. Politicians appear to be concerned and are saying the right things about proposed actions...we shall see.

Meanwhile there are many charities that are taking donations to help those in this crisis situation. A spokesman for one of these charities said that the public have shown eagerness at finally being able to do something to help i.e. not with the apathy that the media is depicting. This is heartening...that people still care and respond.

 

I think this kettle must have boiled dry by now!!!!

 

Grateful every day for this little monkey!....hard work but worth it!!

 

Yep... Im just her slave!.... what harm...they grow up so fast!

 

She is gorgeous Michael! Was going to say something similar, that I'm greatful my partner and children are happy and healthy!
@fat controller think my daughter, aged 9 is on her way to that stage, she spends all evening on the xbox now, god help me in 3 years!!

Today i am grateful for waking up to sunshine and the start of a new series of Gardener's World tonight (4th March) Life is good

 

My eldest son. For my 70th. birthday he edited the children's stories I have written over the years (and I mean YEARS) and published them in book form on Amazon. Thrilled does not cover half of it. One of my few ambitions now fulfilled. We have even sold a few as well, not that we intended to do that.
