I think they are adorable little things. There is one in my garden which scurries about all over the place and doesn't even mind when I open the back door to watch.

Oooh, must go and have a look .... ah, yes, you *must* have a hand blender, it's essential! I have the cream one too, classic and smart looking. Did you get any attachments? I've got the mincer and the slicer/shredder, but I'm hankering after the sausage stuffer. I had a half share in a sausage maker once and had great fun making all kinds of sausages. Unfortunately, the person who had the other half share moved away and decided to give it (!!?) to another friend of hers. I never got around to getting one ... so, KA Sausage Stuffer is now on the Wish List :dbgrtmb: :heehee:

@"M" mine came with a free offer, the ice cream making attachment/bowl that was a saving of £90! I've filled in the online form, now it's a waiting game. I've not bought any additional attachments yet, but I'd like the slicer, mincer, cover & an additional bowl....that will get me started :dbgrtmb:. We have a fantastic independent shop in Bury so I will probably get my additional bits from them.
:nonofinger:At your age you should know not to share sausage stuffing! :heehee: I hope you can get the attachment soon

Ah, no ice cream making attachment for me (fab saving! :blue thumb: ) ... we bought this house instead :heehee:
 :roflol: At my age I've finally learned: once bitten, twice shy! There'll be no more half shares for "M" and no mistake :nonofinger: (so get your beady eyes off my asparagus  )

            Good day everyone,
Yes, I might as well put a cot in the greenhouse. It was bitterly cold last night and the stupid heater cut out nearly every 1/2 hour. I had one spot in the night where I got a full 1 1/2 of wonderful sleep in between alarms. When the sun gets around to hitting the greenhouse and giving me free heat, I'm going to take the little rotter apart and clean it. Hopefully that will help. My back up plan is to get a little ceramic heater ... I'm starting to get a little crabby what with having little sleep....

@Becky76 I have had my KA mixer for nearly 20 years now. It is the one where you use a lever to raise the bowl up under the beater, not the tilt head one. I have nearly every attachment, except the sausage maker. I really love the pasta roller and the chopper blades make short work of lots of projects. It's wonderful to be able to put containers of ingredients away after having added their quantities to the bowl. By the time the dough or whatever are mixed up, your counter top is lovely and clear. Enjoy!

            Have a safe day everyone!

:wow: @CanadianLori your mixer has certain given you a good term :dbgrtmb: I hope mine lasts as long. Oh yes I've been looking at the pasta maker, I need to go on a shopping spree!
My kettle is wonderful :) I can't believe how much tea I've drunk since we got it! :snorky:

They didn't make them in nice colours back. Mine is a plain grey one.

I love how much it makes baking easy Enjoy!

Good morning @BeeHappy @moyra and all my other friends have a lovely day:smile:

Through primrose tufts, in that green bower,
                      The periwinkle trailed its wreaths;
And ’tis my faith that every flower
                      Enjoys the air it breathes.

                        Good morning @BeeHappy , @wiseowl ,our @moyra (and all our GC WW'ers)

How lovely to be greeted by not one, but two quotes from Wordsworth :wub2:

I've redeemed myself over the "Spicy Fruit Loaf sans Fruit" mishap yesterday ... it makes the most delicious French Toast! :heehee:

Same as moyra, it is a dull and overcast day this morning - good job I didn't put away my gardening coat because I think I'll need it today because I have weeding to do.

Embrace your day; spend it wisely.

Healing vibes for those who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

                          Aloha everyone,

As you all seem to be waxing lyrical I think that I shall join in. :)

Through primrose tufts, in that green bower,
                          The periwinkle trailed its wreaths;

                          Enjoys the air it breathes.

The birds around me hopped and played,
                          Their thoughts I cannot measure:—
But the least motion which they made
It seemed a thrill of pleasure.

William Wordsworth's poetry is a favourite of most people :blue thumb: (I know that @wiseowl thinks 'tis verily so ).

I remember, even when we were at school together, that Bill was good at writing and especially with his poesies :old: :heehee:

I got some more mowing done yesterday and filled another 60 pots for Mrs Shiney. Sarafi inspected each pot after it was done. He didn't find food in any of them! :snork:

                          Have a great day

"Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart." (W.W)

                            Good day everyone,

Got a good few hours sleep last night so feeling much happier today. The temps only dropped down to just above freezing last night. It was a nice break albeit only for those 24 hours - back to the freezing we go.

Just signed a contract for a new fence. Our 30 year old wood one finally gave up to the constant battering from the neighbours. This one is going to be metal and maybe I'll add a little electricity... ;)

Have a super and safe day all,

Oh, poetry was today's theme, let's see...

                            Ink ink,
                            A bottle of ink,
                            The cork fell off,
                            And winter stinks! :heehee:

                                Aloha everyone,

The rain is due to reach us at lunchtime and continue through the night.

Yesterday we had to have one of our giant poplar trees taken down :cry3: as it had rotted right through. It would have cost a lot more for them to take the wood away as it's right down the bottom of the garden. So it's on the bonfire heap. I haven't looked this morning to see how well it has burnt down but the tree man will be coming back this morning to sort it out. He may need to move all the unburned wood to the centre. It's too heavy for me to lift.

Maybe you should think of letting them out! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
