      Booked half a days holiday to scarify the back lawn - 'orrible drizzle all day after 3 dry weeks :gaah:So need to do it tomorrow and jet wash the patio and put all the garden furniture out - then cold beer time ! :ccheers:

          Why is it that after all the decades of planting bulbs, hardy perennials, shrubs and trees I can still get tempted to buy on impulse!! I bought this lot in Shrewsbury with no real plan to do so......but that's gardening!!:dunno::doh::snorky: So in the pic are:

                Had to create another barrier around the pond now the local monster heron has come back. The other day it was only 18ft from the back door !
                Looks like it was after the frogs as its hard to get at my pet fish . £1000 penalty if you shoot one , only need to save another few quid and its bang bang time .


                Just joking.....theyre too alert to get near to shoot at :yikes: :snorky:

                          Washed the slate pavers on the patio, planted out some over wintered perennials, had another go at a patch of ground elder. Talk about survival of the fittest, it's going to take over the world one day

                              When I was a Kid, eons ago, my mother would grab me by the collar [before I could run off!!] and on inspecting my neck would declare that "There's enough muck there to grow potatoes" and I would be heading for the bath........Hmmm:doh:, things haven't changed much I see after checking my neck in the mirror!!:dunno::hate-shocked::heehee:
