th.jpg Good Morning everyone, what a night! Amber is waiting to go out but I am scared of getting blown over, but shall have to manage somehow. Shiney and Woo do look after yourselves as this wind is not thought to drop until late in the day. A lot of places in Essex are without power and ours has flickered a few times.
Have a good day all if you can, stay warm and dry and above all SAFE and well, God bless.:wub2:

      Good Morning

Goodness gracious me this wind & rain is horrid, it kept me awake in the night, I've been out to check everything is ok, no damage thank goodness.

No sign of Mr Rat-a-tat-tat or any other creatures thank goodness :phew:.

I'm just going to pop into work briefly then I'm going into town to pick up some bits & bobs.

      Please stay safe everyone, :grphg:

Morning all. Bit rough out there this morning.

Been outside and fed the chickens, they didn't look too impressed when they were blown sideways as they emerged from their hut. :lolpt: :chicken::chicken:

Doesn't seem to be too much damage in the garden, one large pot with a Bay plant in it has blown over, it's still intact though so I'll sort that out later.

Much excitement in the Trunky household yesterday. Our youngest daughter and her partner are on holiday in Thailand at the moment, yesterday evening while they were watching the sunset on a beach, she had a big surprise ... he proposed to her! :)

He's a smashing lad and we're all very happy for them both. He actually came to see me at home last week and did the old fashioned thing of asking me if it was ok if he proposed to my daughter! (I said it most certainly was and shook his hand :snork:).

We've all been on tenterhooks since they departed on Friday, waiting for the big announcement. Mrs Trunky has been on 'proposal watch' checking her phone every five minutes and was over the moon when she received a phone call from one very excited daughter yesterday. :hapfeet:

            Morning early people :)

Not much sleep last night, just had a look out, roll of debris netting has unravelled over the plot, greenhouse is missing a payne and there's a few logs embedded in the ground that weren't there last night.

Not checked the workshop for flooding yet :th scifD36:

Have a good day everyone and hold onto your hat.

              Morning WW'er's

Black, no sugar, thank you :coffee:
Totally agree with Shy Knee @moyra ... wait until the winds have dropped. Oz has been out in the garden and is whining for his walk, but, there isn't anywhere we can go where we don't pass trees. So, he's having to wait until the wind drops a bit (should be around lunchtime).

Healing vibes winging their way to you @wiseowl :grphg:

How wonderful!! :hapydancsmil: Congratulations to the happy couple and "Cheers!" to you and Mrs T for surviving the anticipated wait :ccheers:

@Beckie76 - sorry to hear about your fence panel; hope all goes well with your visitors and your meal later today.

Healing vibes for those in need of them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

Mmm... @Beckie76 , I have a feeling Mrs T will be quite happy to do her outfit shopping without my help.

She has already pointed out that it will require a joint shopping expedition for my outfit. She will definitely be accompanying me on that occasion, as I am not to be trusted when it comes to sartorial matters. :snork:

                    Good day everyone,
This is a work day for me because it is raining. I am trying to get lots of work accomplished on rainy days so that I can play on the sunny ones. :)

I'm listening to old mystery movies (40's) while working. The dialogue is always fun in those old films.

Have a safe day everyone and I hope you've seen the last of the bad winds for awhile.

Goods Morning everyone, I hope you are all safe and well, WOO, hope you are feeling much better. I did manage to get Amber out in that wind yesterday but was very wary of keeping away from the trees which were making a hell of a noise. My plastic on my little greenhouse has gone. Not sure how I am going to get that repaired. This one hasn't lasted like the last one did. Oh well never mind.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless. :wub2:

Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

Last day of my six day Easter break today. Will probably do a trip to the dump to get rid of various debris from 'project fence', then maybe a visit to a local nursery for a couple of plants.

                          Have a good day.

                            Good morning,

Bright day here, blue sky with white fluffy clouds .

Back to work today, I'd like one more day off, I still have some plants to put in & my seeds to sow.

The hens are shouting at the backdoor! Best I take them some wet mash!

                            Enjoy your day everyone :hapydancsmil:

                                Aloha everyone,

                                We survived yesterday :heehee:

About lunchtime the wind dropped a bit and the sun came out. So we went for a walk to the village. We had to clear a very large branch that was blocking our driveway first. The mile going there was easy but the return journey took twice as long with us leaning forwards at a 45 degree angle. :phew:

My leg stood up to it very well :blue thumb: but I was banned from doing any gardening. I just took a slow wander round and cleared some of the larger fallen branches. Mrs Shiney worked in the garden all afternoon doing potting on and clearing dead plants from the nursery beds.

I'll get a little bit done out there today.

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
