    Good day everyone,
I am looking forward to a day of brilliant sunshine and we are going to get up to 41f - super for working outside. I will be shifting the small greenhouse today. I've moved it 3 times now and haven't been happy with where I'd placed it. I have been planning this now for quite some time so I feel that this is it's final resting place.:phew: Loads of fun getting ready for the good weather.

I hope everyone stays safe and also gets to have a fun day like myself. :)

Morning all. Looks like a fine spring day out there, hope everyone is well. :)

Back to work today after my extended Easter break. Don't know if there was any storm damage there on Monday, hopefully not.

      Have a good day.

Good Morning everyone, hope everyone is fine and dandy this morning. The sun is out so hopefully we shall have a better day. I have been summoned to the Doctors this afternoon for a check up. Just hope he doesn't tell me off for not taking the statins which I gave up on some time ago.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

            Aloha everyone,

I didn't do much in the garden yesterday but did repair the mower box with Gorilla Tape - and saved myself £157. Hopefully it will last another 20 years. :old:

Why not put it on wheels? :ideaIPB:

By late morning the flooded bottom of the garden had receded but it was too soggy to walk on. After last night's torrential downpour I guess it will be flooded again today. I don't think it will have a great deal of effect on the hundreds of cowslips and primroses that have already started to appear. A lot of the bee orchids got badly damaged by the tree surgeons when they took the poplar down - a combination of chunks of tree trunk and big boots has crushed most of them.

I mentioned, a while ago, that we're now getting more trouble with rabbits coming in from our neighbour's garden. It has got so bad (holes appearing all over the flower beds) that I'm now having to try and shoot them :frown:. I got my first one yesterday. I only have my 1950's trusty air rifle to use and I was surprised that it worked so well.

One of the rabbits was sitting on the lawn munching at the grass, about 60ft from my kitchen window, when I took the shot at it. It keeled over and one of the female pheasants, which was eating seed from the feeder about 12" from it, just glanced at it and carried on eating. Michael turned up just then and had a look at it. He said it looked as though it had a touch of myxomatosis but couldn't be sure. I've reported it, just in case, but the authorities weren't interested - neither were the vets! They say it has been around, again, for years.

            Sunny again this morning

I'm going to start working on the new flower bed we shall be making, behind our shed at the bottom of the garden, if it isn't under water. Mrs Shiney won't be able to see me back there  :heehee:

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

I always refuse to take them. :blue thumb: You've got enough problems with your joints and I guess you find the statins make it worse. :grphg:

                  Good day,

Beautiful weather here  blue sky & bright sunshine, with a chilly breeze.

Buttercup the hen is showing signs of being broody, I hope it doesn't last too long :rolleyespink:.

My free ice cream maker for my kitchen Aid was delivered yesterday, it looks like a good bit of kit, I hope to put it to the test at the weekend.

I hope you all have a lovely day, :hapydancsmil:

                    Good day everyone
@shiney yes, wheels would have been easier. We had privacy issues with our next door neighbour and then issues with copious amounts of smoke from their barbecue which prompted the first couple of moves. Now they have installed lattice along the side of their deck. I put the greenhouse back to the original spot that I had planned for it.:) (did I mention I had to move the wood pile 3 times as well ... until I finally got a wood rack that would hold lot off the ground at the back of the yard?)

@Becky76 please share your experience with the ice cream maker. I have most of the attachments available for these mixers but not that one and have been thinking of getting one.:)

Muscles are a little stiff today so I plan to get back out there and start digging and keep up the pace and to loosen up a little.

                    Have a safe day everyone!

                      Morning all.

Well, on my return to work yesterday I found they did have some storm damage from Monday's gales. A large ivy covered willow had snapped off and fallen down across one of the lawns in the garden. Most of the clearing up work had been done on Tuesday , but there was still a quite a lot of debris to be cleared and shifted yesterday.

Hope everyone is well and happy, have a good day. :)

Good Morning everyone, Well the summons from the Doctor was to sort out a system whereby should I need emergency treatment I can phone his number direct rather than the surgery and either he or a district nurse will attend me rather than go to A and E. Also had to complete a questionnaire about my final days!!! Would I prefer hospital, hospice or home to finish my life, I opted for hospice and also for non resuscitation should I stop breathing or my heart stop! Not a pleasant consultation but I think a necessary one. Didn't answer all his questions as I said it would very much depend on whether I was compes mentos or not! Still at least he has some idea of how I feel on matters.

Hope everyone is feeling well today, WOO ? and those in your nest. Shiney, I really hope you haven't been overdoing things. Have a good day all, take care, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
                              God bless. :wub2:

                                Aloha everyone,

@moyra I've been a fairly good boy :pathd: and didn't do too much in the garden yesterday. I'll probably get more done today and the sun is shining brightly. I'll do some work, then go shopping and then do a bit more. It's good that the doctor has given you a direct number. With the questionnaire, did they have the option of being put on the compost heap? :runforhills:

I'll take Mrs Shiney to the station shortly as she's off to the Royal Academy this morning.

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
