    I did consider an electric fence at one point but decided it was not cost effective and stopped growing carrots instead. Apart from the carrots I could live with the occasional holes in the grass.
    Then I got different neighbours all of whom had dogs this has significantly reduced badgers in my garden.

    Aah, that explains my carrots all getting excavated last year - I thought they'd only got the onions. Not too bothered about the grass so will make my daughter's partners very large Weimeramer very welcome then give her lots to drink......

    Whichever of them will wee on the lawn, mark her territory. I have just been rained in just when I'd got onion sets planted, so no chance to Jeyes fluid, tho I did put netting over them, secured with tent pegs.
