Rubbish, been in A&E this morning, got into tho office this morning early, bent down to get a cup out of the cupboard to make a brew, while I was doing that somebody else opened the cupboard above, and yes I stood up and split my head open on the corner of the cupboard.
3'' long and about 1/4'' wide cut on my forehead, they cleaned it out and steri striped it, bleed like a hell.
I am dreading to mickey taking tomorrow when I get back tomorrow.

I hope you're a fast healer - that is so nasty a place to get cut. Who the heck would open a cupboard above - I'd be having words :paladin:

Wife wanted to go to Birmingham city centre shopping, so I said I'm not shopping I will take the kids to the museum andcwecqoyldcall meet for lunch. What a mistake!!! Spent more time going backward and forward to the toilet, then they got
bored , then daughter had an tantrum over what I still don't know. Met wife for lunch which was very nice and then train home. When I got home I decided to replace the anti roll bar links on my car. Mistake number two of the day!! Got the first nut off and the heavens opened up, so I got absolutely soaked. I have had to get undressed at the back door ang wring out my clothes. Guess what? As soon as I took the jack from under the car the rain stopped . Oh well I am going to meet my mate for a couple of beers in a bit .

Currently waiting in for Ikea to deliver my new wardrobes! I'm afraid I took the "lazy" route and opted for construction as well as delivery; the small to medium flat packs are about doable on one's own, but big complicated 6'something" structures with glass and internal fittings? When I'm 5'3" and the instructions call for 2+ people? Nah, friends. :snork: I managed to put their tall bookshelves together and stand them up, but they're much simpler structures. That was my limit! :thud:

as a matter of fact it did remind me of someone fanning away a bit of wind... :snorky:

I've got an appointment this afternoon with a client who was born in England. An absolutely delightful lady who picks fabrics with vibrant colours and is wonderful to work with. AND she watches Corrie too so we have a good chin wag about the show before getting down to business. How much better does a job get than that?

I've just come back from a new store (around here anyway) called 'The Range'.

Their terracotta pots are cheaper than B&Q (look to be of similar quality to me). Their bedding plants are £2.49 for 10 plugs (B&Q £5.70 - although there were more developed but not as healthy looking).

I've also been on the hunt for round terracotta belly pot - lo and behold - there they were right in front of me, a snip at £4.99.

This new store is on the same site that was up until a couple of months ago occupied by a B&Q. I'm glad of the change now I've visited the new store.

I don't say this very often - but I'm impressed :).

Meetings on Monday, then to the gym, make supper, watch TV, go to bed . Training on Tuesday then to the gym, make supper, watch TV then go to bed. Wednesday, car to the shop for oil change, then to hide away to write reports, and set up a meeting with someone today.

A kind offer, Lori, but I prefer the Angel Inn at Nassington, as they keep the perfect Free House pint, good food, live music by visiting musicans, and a great welcome.
