Lol! Ok, I'm a bit unsure about it but I took one of these brown pots and gave it a white wash:

It either looks like shabby chic or someone's gone crazywith the Tippex.

Looks good to me - if you want to go a bit more "shabby chic" you could decoupage some rose pictures onto it

Excellent news!!!! Now ... where's the pie [IMG]

My order from brookside nursery arrived this morning so tonight consisted of potting on 40 geraniums and 40 gazanias. Repotted the 3 large Brugmansias that are slowly showing signs of coming back into leaf.

I filled up the 5 litre hand pressure spray with a solution of Jeyes Fluid and charged it up, after donning my ragged jeans and raggedy T Shirt again, and went into the Green House to clean it out and disinfect it ready for moving in seedlings in the next couple of days. I've bought a plastic multi-shelf unit and I'll construct that, along with a another one I already have, on which to put the seedling trays. I made sure that I got the spray into every nook and cranny and there seemed to be a line of spiders, etc, making for the door with suitcases in hand:dunno:. So now the Green House is disinfected on the inside but it needs spraying with Jeyes Fluid on the outside and then after leaving it for an hours a good wash down with the garden hose on a fine spray and after that I'll brush the floor of the Green House again.. That job I should be able to do tomorrow as the weather forecast isn't too bad. I then headed for a Shower as I smelt like a Disinfectant Factory, but at least I was germ free.:dunno::heehee:

Sowed kale, collards, psb, and my favourite Rudbekia Aztec dwarfs. Pulled up a load of nettles from under the magnolia, and spread more bark chippings there.

After feeding the roses with chicken manure pellets I then emptied most of my small composter on to the bed they're in. A job that's usually done at the start of March but weather has delayed it, the rain set in again just as I was finishing.

I got a cut of the grass in between showers. The third cut of the year, but so much easier, now we have a new lawnmower that actually does self-propel!!

I was hoping to have a wander around, camera at the ready, but the weather decided to change my plans, so it was indoors for some cake-baking :stirpot:

I planted my onion sets in little pots and put them in one of those plastic plant growers. I cut back some hardy Fuchsias.
I am really behind this year - the weather and other things getting in the way ...

Lawn mown; girls were given free range of the contents of the compost bin (it's not really composted too well, so a bit of rebalancing needs doing)

My large cock has been given its final position - honestly, it's been moved hither and thither but only *now* has a place to call home  Like I said to Mr "M", it may take a bit of time, but, eventually all things fall into place. And now, he's in his "place"! :pathd:

Bit more weeding: ok, I lied, a LOT more weeding (where are they all coming from? Then again, it's back to an old saying: when the weeds get growing, it's time to get sowing) and another sizing up of "The Proposed New Border" ... I have to plant seeds of ideas into Mr "M"'s mind before *anything* takes root, so I dare say there will be lots of sizing up going on over time before I convince him of the inevitable: I am *always* right! And a border, just *there* is the RIGHT thing to do! *sighs* It's a long process :rolleyespink:
