So it's my mum's birthday in 3 weeks time and she's been through a lot in the past year so I want to get her something special.

My dad was diagnosed with leukaemia just before Christmas and my mum had to go back and forth to London where my dad was while he had treatment. After a brief rest bite my Dad is back in hospital for more chemotherapy and my mum has told me that she's found gardening very therapeutic for her.

So I want to buy her a really special present this year. Her garden is only 40ft long (I think) and keeps saying to me that she doesn't have enough space to have a greenhouse. She currently has one of those blowaway ones but I would love to treat her to one that will last and not blow away more importantly.

I was looking into a wooden version but wondered if any members on here had experience with them.

Any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a lean to greenhouse 6ft by 2ft and 4ft high, it's aluminium and toughened glass and has 2 sliding doors bottom and top.
The tip also has 3 sliding panes and a louvre on the end. The shelves are 6x glass panels so can be moved or stacked at will. And hung shelves top and bottom which are removable

So in answer you can grow your seeds and plants early, then when they are planted out the toms can be put in the bottom with the shelves moved aside and grow to their hearts content.
