Hi Shiney....thanks for that. I'll look out for the feeders you mentioned. I was a bit dubious about the squirrel guard as I wasn't sure it would work seeing as they seem to be determined little critters! I'll have to try something though as Mr Squirrel seems to have brought his friends! :th scifD36: :snork:

The squirrels that come into our garden seem quite satisfied with just eating the seed that the birds drop. Every so often they try to climb the feeder but can't find a way around the squirrel guard. :blue thumb:

She strikes a very noble pose: how wonderful you had your camera to hand. It's a good shot

Thank you M, ive not seen much of her for the last few days due to the weather, she will have been sat on the chicks, the male is present everyday,

I don't know where the nest is but I am guessing the chicks are around a week old, my camera is always to hand :), I just need to remember to put the memory card back in it :snorky:.

Was working in my shed today when I looked up to see a young fox peaking round the door.

He ran off when I got my phone off but managed to get a shot of him before he disappeared under the hedge

A brief few days visit to Mrs Strongy's aunt in the Care Home at Birkenhead, staying in her empty bungalow, there was plenty of activity in the garden.
                      Dunnock.

Courting Dunnocks, as mentioned somewhere before they court in threes! The third one was chased off.

Being inspected but I don't know if they will use it as we won't be back till June.

I spotted a male bullfinch while at the garden centre, shame I wasn't quick enough to get a shot with my phone .

Hopefully flying! I'll be moving them on Monday, they're right next to a lagoon of landfill leachate. I don't really want to be fishing out 12 dead ducklings. :frown:

There's plenty of other bodies of water around so hopefully they'll be alright, and mother duck won't abandon them.
