    Hello lovely forummers,

Can any of you tell me what these plants are? I've been meaning to ask as the first one is popping up little leaves everywhere, though the one I've photographed is the most established.

The second one is furry and has a sort of grey colour. That's popping up everywhere too.

No idea about the third one.

    Is the fourth one dock?

      1) Geum (plant), or maybe Wood Avens (weed), but I'd guess the former.

      2) Lambs Ears (plant).

      3) Pansy/Viola (plant)

      4) Dock (weed).

think scrunge is right, the first one looks like a cultivated form of wood avens, leaf edges are spikier than the wild one.

          Thanks everyone!

Is this quite invasive? It seems that way to me. I should pull it out shouldn't I? Wonder where it's come from!

So that's what happened to those pansy seeds! I thought they had disappeared!

Dig them out complete with their spreading roots, or you be forever pulling at them.

Thank you so much everyone. I can't wait to get out there and carry on pulling the weeds out, safe in the knowledge I am doing the right thing!
