Hopefully not literally, we did enough damage the last time round! Also something to consider: A lot of the named "Brexiteers" are staunchly into the idea of removing the "free at point of service" aspect of the NHS. I really don't like that. I mean, even if we remain In we still have Tories meddling in the NHS to worry about, but I don't trust the Out campaigners statements of "look at all the money we MIGHT put in the NHS!" with the opinion record they have on it.
Ive always been a vote leave chap as I believe we the British have the necessary intelligence to run our own country and determine our own futures. But Im now even more inclined to vote leave after being told to vote to stay in by the lame duck president obama, the IMF, Camerons city chums and by the Eurocrats.
And now Osbornes claiming every family will be £4300 a year worse of if we leave That guy makes various forecasts every year and the following year his forecasts are shown to have been wrong again and again.
Correct they have not told us how to vote, just advised what they would like us to do We have two choices vote to stay and be dictated to with no voice of any worth OR Leave and get along on our own, at least if it is not looking good We can vote the Government OUT We can not vote the Rulers OUT if we stay in the EU, we have to accept all they decree
Hi Shiney, I told you not to do that again last week, frightening all the poor old dears at the bridge club It was ok in the 1960s but not now everything's gone south
I've been reading about that, is it the usual 'were just about to finally have an improved economy, full employment, large wage increases, increase in GDP per capita, etc., etc.', but if you vote out it wont happen and things will get worse instead? (like what they say in General Election campaigns).
Sky news now - George setting out why we should stay in - some logical and powerful arguments. I'm starting to waiver a little.
Any mention of pasties, caravans, tax credits, revised deficit reduction timetable, cuts to disabled benefits, charitable donations relief, etc?
Is he a defeatist then? Is he admitting that he doesn't envisage a success in the next general election? According to a report on the process for leaving the EU: We're due another general election in May 2020, so if this government isn't successful in that campaign, it means they will be a part of the negotiations for less time than their successors. Or maybe I've misunderstood?
Under EU rules, we have 2 years to unravel everything. So yes, it will be the tories that do it all. Probably the lesser of two evils really, as I reckon corbyn would just give us away for free like Blair did.
But which tories? How can somebody like DC who (now) disagrees so vehemently with leaving the EU be the one to negotiate exit? (especially after how he failed with his recent negotiations to 'reform the EU'. I reckon the tory party will chuck him out and select another leader, oh dear things are looking bad again ...
