    I mostly agree, except that they won't need to chuck him out. He's already said he doesn't want another term.

        Who are you voting for as your new Prime Minister ?

        Boris or Osborne ?

        If we stay in Europe we get Osborne if we vote leave we will get Boris. I know who I`d prefer and it aint Osborne.

          This isn't a general election. I seriously hope people aren't going to base their referendum decision on whether they prefer Boz or Osborne. Holy mackerel, this is something that will affect the whole country for a generation or more. It's not a popularity contest between two toffs. We each have a responsibility to do our absolute best to get this right for the whole population present and future, of the whole of the UK. I seriously hope you're in the minority, thinking of it in terms of which of two tory mps you dislike least.

            No he didn't. He came back and told all of us what a cracking deal he had got after "a lot of hard negotiation". :roflol:

            You forgot the third and equally dreadful outcome - Theresa May :yikes: She's playing this like a true pro and basically keeping her gob shut.

              I couldn't agree more, Clueless, but I can't recall any General Election in my lifetime where the public voted responsible.:dunno: We have had over the years of a growing trend of tactical voting where policies were disregarded in an attempt to ensure that a rival party didn't make it to No.10. So you have people knowing that their Party has no chance of getting into power and so voting for another Party to ensure their most disliked Party don't succeed.
              A lot of people and families only vote for one Party all their lives despite the fact that that Party has gone down the drain or has lost it's way, just like a person and a family will blindly support a Football Team no matter what. So, unfortunately, a great proportion of the Public do vote for the most popular/liked Politician when it comes to an Election.
              Wee Tam is right, a lot of people will vote for a personality despite the importance of the decision if that personality is speaking in a way that appeals to them. To be honest, I think Osborne's latest attempt at reading an economic Crystal Ball, should we leave, over the next 14 years and publishing his "mathematical" formulae :

              "1n(Tijt) = α ij + Y t + α₁ 1n(Y it * Y jt ) + α₂ 1n(POP it * POP jt ) + ε ijt

              = α ij + Y t + αX ijt + ε ijt"

              has not done the "IN" Campaign any good what so ever and, since he's not exactly an outstanding Chancellor, has been made to look desperate, foolish and patronising by the "Out" Campaign and the National Media at all levels, especially as he has consistently failed to reach any of the targets he, himself, has set over the years and has been forced to do a U turn on Pensions and Tax Credits after a revolt in Parliament.

                Are you really saying you don't understand 1n(Tijt) = α ij + Y t + α₁ 1n(Y it * Y jt ) + α₂ 1n(POP it * POP jt ) + ε ijt = α ij + Y t + αX ijt + ε ijt

                You've just got to think in modern terms, POP. I think it's pretty obvious, 1n(Tijt)

                      Formulae can be produced to 'prove' anything:

                      1N = εJITS + 1dI0Ts - BRa1ns

                      or

                      0UT = εJITS +CREt1nS - BRa1ns

                      etc.

                          Good morning all my friends :smile:

                          Your opinion isn't right.
                          It isn't wrong either.
                          It's your opinion, and you're allowed to have it.
                          But since it's not fact and millions of other people will disagree with you and a million more will share your feelings, you're neither right nor wrong.
                          You're just expressing the viewpoint that works for your lifestyle and belief system – and if you enjoy the ability to do that, remember to extend the same courtesy to the people around you.

                          I shall get off my soap box now have a good day my friends:old:;)
