Lori, I heard this morning that one of my favourite nephews is getting married for the first time on his 50th birthday in Wa Wa, Ontario, just hope it works out for them. He is a lovely person, hope he will be very happy!

Good morning everyone. Very dull and dismal this morning, not going to be a very nice day by all accounts. I must get Amber out before the rain starts.
Hope H's seminar went well yesterday Shiney and your super three course meal went down a treat.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well.
      God Bless.:wub2:

        Morning early people :)

Lovely day here, despite the BBC weather warning of the weekend from hell :th scifD36:

Might wander off down the beach for a while :fishing:

Have a good day everyone :)

          Aloha everyone,

Seminar and lunch went well :blue thumb:. The people were very nice and some had travelled a long way (South Coast). With all the moving of furniture (only tables and chairs), cooking and washing up my back is a bit delicate today. The hard chairs at the church hall last night didn't help but the supper and entertainment was good.

Mrs Shiney has just given me a nice back massage and I'm going to have a long hot shower. :)

I think that I'll have a walk and then see how I feel. May do some mowing - but no bending.

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Good morning,

Overcast here with a bit of drizzle :th scifD36:, I'm hopeful that the sun might pop his hat on for an hour or so later on :dbgrtmb:

I was passing Aldi last night, thought I'd drive through the car park to look at the plants :dbgrtmb:, they had packs of bedding plants :dbgrtmb: I picked up a few :whistle:for my hanging baskets. I just need some compost now then I shall be able to get on with those. I might pop to the farm shop today to see if they have anything I 'need' :heehee:

Kev let the hens out at 5.30 this morning :snooze: I was sound asleep, he said they were clucking & making a terrible noise! They are now all standing on the back door step clucking for a treat! I've got some left over lettuce for them. Buttercup......is still broody

Best I get on, I'm going to go into work with kev for a few hours or at least until the weather decides what it's doing!

Have a good day everyone, enjoy the garden between the showers :dbgrtmb:

Wow, that is really far north from me. About same the distance from London to Glasgow, away from me. That is a rugged part of the province. My granddaughter lived there for a short while then she moved to an even remoter spot! I hope if it's an outdoor wedding, they wait until June so that the black flies don't hamper the proceedings. :)

I gathered it was far out Lori, his birthday is 25th May so not far off June. It is quite a journey. They met on the internet and the rest is history. They are going to get married on the beach so I am not sure what kind of beach it is that far out.

                        Aloha everyone,

If I remember my geography correctly it's the shore of Lake Superior

I got some work done in the garden and although there was a cold northerly wind I worked down the back of the garden which is sheltered from the north. It wasn't warm but was quite nice in the sunshine.

It's not looking brilliant out there at the moment but I hope to get a bit more done.

Keep well and have a great day

                        Aloha!

Good morning everyone, by golly it is cold this morning. I am not looking forward to walking Amber, could do with going back to bed to get warm. This is a cold old flat do not know why we put up with it.

Have a good day everyone and try and keep warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.

                              Good morning,

Chilly start here today & very overcast.

I have to attend a funeral today, not something I've been looking forward to I must say. The chap who died was a work acquaintance, I'd known him for several years, poor chap was in his 70's & was riddled with cancer.
I'm going to have an hour in the garden before I leave, at least I will start the day off on a good note. :dbgrtmb:

The bird feeders all need filling up & of course my hens are shouting at the backdoor! their feeder has plenty of food in it but they like wet mash in the morning, anyone would think I'd spoilt them :heehee:

I hope you are all keeping well & your gardens are coming along well :grphg:

Enjoy your day folks, wrap up warm if you are able to venture out into the garden :dbgrtmb:

                                Good afternoon WW'ers

Tempus fugit! So much has been going on in your lives since I last posted in here!!

                                @shiney - congratulations on your trophies/winnings :star:

@Beckie76 - glad no one was injured in your fender bender episode :grphg: Hope the funeral goes off with dignity today.
Oh and btw - both my broodies have now given up  There's hope for Buttercup yet :chicken:

@moyra - hope the results on Thursday are positive so you can put the scan experience behind you :grphg:

@Zigs - sorry to hear about your foot ... and your starter motor! Just don't use the same method to get your foot started as you do your starter motor

When I was setting off for my walk this morning, I passed my next door neighbour on her way home from the school run. She wanted to ask a favour (no problem) and as she was talking, she kept looking at my basement area (no problem). Then, she realised that she was doing it, looked embarrassed, giggled, apologised and explained: "Sorry, I don't mean to keeping looking, but you've made it look so pretty I can't *stop* looking to see what you do next!". Well that stopped me in my tracks! How sweet of her to pass comment! In the way back home, after the walk, I tried to look at the basement garden with "fresh" eyes but I don't think I'm seeing it quite how she does :heehee:

Healing vibes for all who need them; miles of smiles for all xxMxx
