Don't tempt me @Kandy! I'd happily live in one! :heehee:
We've put it on hold for this weekend, weather IS rubbish by the looks.. not too bothered, just means we can get our stuff together a bit better and make the van a bit more comfortable before we go. Plus I'm going to have a good gander at these gas/electrical things for the van.

image.jpg We looked at motor homes quiet a number of years ago but the price of even the second hand ones put us off plus you have to have MOT's (we have our caravan serviced each year to get the nice sticker) then you have to pay the vehicle licence tax,(not sure how much it is for Motorhomes) plus quiet often you have to tow another vehicle behind them to drive anywhere once pitched and a lot of supermarket car parks have barriers to stop them parking in the car park overnight:snorky:
              This is ours...

Thats one of the huge advantages in the UK when compared to Sweden. Here caravans, and even trailers must be taxed and MoT'd. When you then add to that the fact that using ferries and or bridges is required to go to other "warmer" countries, caravans become too expensive to use.

Its not usual to tow anything either. We take cycles with us, usually on racks fitted to the rear.

But I've seen Julian at Burrowhayes distributing duckboards to caravaners (although I've had Swans under my tent guyropes on a flooded Welsh camp site).
