Good morning everyone, and WOO thank you yes it is sunny but still very cold. Do not want any more snow/hail storms like yesterday. Everywhere was white with white marbles. I was out in that with Amber, could have timed it better I guess.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

        Aloha Everyone,

Lots of hail storms yesterday but sunny and frosty this morning.

I had bad cramp in the night  so shall be hobbling around for a few days . If the ground isn't too soggy then I shall do some mowing. This should help me keep the leg stretched. :blue thumb:

Mrs Shiney went to see a sprightly 93 year old friend of hers. She told Mrs Shiney that her old cat wasn't well the other day and took it to the vet. The vet took it into her surgery but came out very quickly to tell her that the cat had died and had probably had a heart attack on the way to the surgery. The vet was very caring and they cried together. The next day the old lady received a big bouquet from the vet saying that she had never had that sort of thing happen before with a pet.

The old lady also contacted her insurance company to cancel the pet insurance. The next day she received a bouquet from them as well!! :grphg:

Keep well and have a great day

        Aloha!

          Good day
@shiney I've never heard of an insurance firm with a heart. Almost makes me want to get a pet!

We're going to have a very sunny day here but alas it is also cold. We went down below freezing last night and luckily my lanterns propped the temperature up to 38f. I hope that was the coldest we are going to get because I have no space to bring all those plants back inside.

OH and I are going to take my friends CTS for a run today to prepare it for its emissions test. There's a shop about 45 minutes from here that sell yummy icecreams including maple walnut and that is where we plan to visit. With it being cold out, we sure won't need to take an ice chest!

Have a super and safe day everyone. :)

@moyra, I'm sorry for not being able to reply properly this morning & being in such a rush but I have been thinking about your horrid experience with the new blooming cat, I wonder if you bought a cheap bag/pot of pepper & sprinked it under the bushes, that might discourage the cat.i had troubles with a cat up the road coming in & I ended up throwing a saucepan of water over it, sometimes that's the only way! I've not had any trouble since I threw the water! I hope you manage to solve the problem & I'm so sorry that you witnessed such a terrible event :grphg:

              Good evening late people,
:paladin: Mr Rat-a-tat-tat has returned & bought his wife :yikes:, I'm not putting up with this nonsense anymore, Kev had set two traps & we are going to get the little beggers! :paladin: They've dug under the frame of my greenhouse which has irritated me :nonofinger: needless to say I will want to be putting my tomatoes in there very soon, that can't happen at the moment. :gaah:
Rant over :mute: (I hope by the morning I will have caught at least one! :fingers crossed:)

                  Aloha everyone,

I must admit that I was rather surprised. :rolleyespink:

Smilies seem to be on a go slow this morning

@Beckie76 Do you want to borrow my rifle? :snork:

I got a lot of mowing done yesterday and some digging and will try and get more done today.

Keep well and have a great day

                      Good morning,

Frosty start here but it's brightened up & I'mblessed with a beautiful morning :hapydancsmil: lets hope this is the turning point & we will all have some nice weather, I'm getting a little fed up with the hail storms & grey cloud.

@shiney, thank you, your rifle will come in handy! :paladin: No sign of the rat(s)over night :thud: both traps are empty this morning :gaah: I will get them, I will win  they will not beat me :catapult:.

Still no baby news, he's overdue now, my brothers partner is booked in for a sweep on Tuesday another one Friday then she will be induced the following Tuesday, I don't want to wait much longer it's worrying me  he's been engaged for 3 weeks now.

I hope you are all ok & your gardens are coming along nicely.

@NorthantsGeezer, I haven't see you on here recently, are you ok?

                      Enjoy your day folks :grphg:

                        Good morning WW'ers

@moyra - hope you managed to secure a parking space and your appointment goes well.

I have the most wonderful pair of thermal trousers which I wear on cold mornings. They were a gift from one of my study buddy's which he asked his parents to bring over from China for me. At the time of opening the gift, my sons were in fits of laughter (came with a matching thermal top) and my friend didn't know how to translate to the word "thermal", so he just kept saying: "To keep you warm; warm you up". Well, as I received the gift in the summer, I just tucked the set away and didn't give them much of a thought. But boy, when I did rediscover them and realise exactly what they were ... :wub2: ... they are the dogs knees in thermals!!

@Zigs - doesn't your car go in for repair today? Hope it isn't a huge bill. Is your foot any better?

Healing vibes for all who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

I often wear two trousers in winter. maybe leggings and trousers on top. Layering clothes is very effective to trap the air that keeps you warm.

                            Good day everyone

@Becky76 I found that using peanut butter in traps worked very well for getting those rats. I had a family of 5 living under my deck and unbelievably I go one after the other on consecutive nights by using peanut butter - and I only have the one trap!

It was below freezing outside my house this morning but by friday the lows are going to be hovering around the 40f/4.4c mark which means I can finally start shifting some of the cool plants to the blow aways :)

                            Have a safe day everyone!

Good morning everyone, yes I was able to get a parking space right outside the clinic for which I was grateful, but as I went very early I had a fair old wait for my appointment. Not happy as I am going to have to have a biopsy and he warned me to take some painkillers before I attended the clinic.......sounds promising. Anyway he has put me on rapid response so hopefully I will not have to wait too long for the biopsy appointment.

Hope anyone under the weather is feeling better and you all have a good day, staying warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.
