              Hi Martin,

You're doing a great job keep it up :)

I love the idea of putting planting boxes on your wooden arch, with the right plants you could have it totally covered from top to bottom and not see the wood at all.

I think you can probably guess what I'd cover it with...... :)
But, seeing as how you've got about 1400 ( :) ) Petunias I guess it will be those.

I'm not wishing the time away here, but, I can't wait to see it in the summer.

I think it's such a fantastic idea that I wouldn't bother planting it up permanently with Roses or the suchlike.

Hi Anthony many thanks for you kind words :),

Yes I think it will be a quick way of putting some colour round it and yes mainly petunia for this year, next year I will have more time and a better idea what to put in them and make a better display than this year.

I am sure there will be room for a few fuchsia's in there :),

I need to concentrate on spring flowers come autumn, no colour in the garden at the moment I have a few bulbs waiting to go in and various shrubs that should bring flowers and berries when they mature planted round the border,

Yes I might do away with mainly roses etc just a few climbers to break it up, something that flowers early spring would be nice,

I will have more time next year hopefully all building work will be complete shed will be built all my tools removed from the greenhouse and summer house and I can then spend more time planting and growing,

Thanks again Anthony lets see what happens :).

Hi, a bit more done two more sleepers in and more backfilling, i am running out of top soil now and still need a fair bit to bring it up to level, i need to dig down where the shed will be going so i will make use of that,

I have an idea for the slabs i got the other day, i will make a path along the front of the new steps and slightly in the new gaps with two seating areas either side, below the harbours i will be making picture below might explain it better,

I am always looking for bargains/freebies today i bought a used gas BBQ for £23.10p :).
