    Aloha everyone,

Yesterday turned out to be quite a warm one. The thermometer reached 69.2F

Pretty dull this morning but warmer than usual. so I'll get back out there and continue with digging and weeding the new bed. If it's not too windy I'll get some more pressure hosing done.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Good morning everyone, doesn't look so nice out there this morning but certainly a bit warmer. Trouble is everytime I turn my night storage heaters off it turns colder oh for some predicatability with them.
Have a good day all, stay safe and well and also warm and dry. God bless.:wub2:

        Good morning,

I hope you are all well?

What a beautiful day  we had yesterday, it was so nice to feel the warmth from the sun. I achieved a lot in the garden & got the house cleaned too, I have to admit this morning I feel a bit fragile! My body aches :old:, no pain I gain!

I don't have any news on the rat as I've not been out this morning, Kev let the girls out & he's cleaning my car which is a bonus for me because out of all the jobs we all have to do that's the most boring for me:snooze:.

I'm off to work shortly & have to do the grocery shopping, but I'm hoping none of that will take too long, I still have a few jobs to do in the garden. Kev still needs to do that shed, he played in this van yesterday, apparently the racking in the back which he fitted a few weeks ago isn't quite in the right place :noidea:.

enjoy your day everyone & I hope it stays dry so we can all get out in the garden :hapydancsmil:

Good Morning on this (predictably) wet Bank Holiday Monday :heehee:

Not doing anything particular for this Bank Holiday and, as it is overcast and drizzly outside, it doesn't inspire me to have an outing of any kind to any over priced, over populated attraction. But, I do have one or two indoor jobs for Mr "M" which require his muscle power and my expertise in the capacity of Project Manager  :roflol: Best don my overalls and gather my clipboard so I can look the part - a safety helmet wouldn't go amiss either if Mr "M" is doing the practical work :heehee:

Enjoy your day, however you choose to spend it. Healing vibes for all who need them and miles of smiles for all xxMxx

              Good day everyone
It is not a holiday here and I must get much wage earning work accomplished this morning. The fence installers came back yesterday and finished the job by putting the gates in and I am well pleased with the look. I now need to get out there and put down dirt and grass seed. The old fence was wood and some of the areas never received sunlight hence lots of bare spots there. It is cloudy and wet and chilly but very Canadian springlike. Much nicer than the wintry conditions we've had lately.

Have a safe and fun holiday all!

                  Aloha everyone,

The frost burned off very quickly this morning and we're in for a lovely day. :blue thumb:

I got a lot done in the garden yesterday and was able to get around without too many aches this morning. :)

The new bed is ready for planting. It's about 25ft long and varies from 4ft wide to 6ft wide. I'm just waiting for Mrs Shiney to tell me what she wants planted. :love30: I think they'll be some lilies that she has put to one side.

I'll be a bit too busy today to do much out there but that will give my muscles a rest. :phew:

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Morning early people :)

Frost has burned off here too

Quick check round the greenhouse and then off to do some final tending on the wall I've been doing and clear site :)

Have a good day everyone :)

                      Good day everyone.
Need to get some hours of wage earning work done before venturing out into the bright sunshine. Looking forward to potting up some pepper seedlings and just being outside instead of in.

Have a safe day please. :)

                            Aloha everyone,

It's a lovely sunny morning with not even a hint of a breeze. A good day for gardening. :blue thumb:

Just like Beckie's sister in law, the doves haven't hatched yet. :heehee:

The bird feed didn't turn up until late morning yesterday and the birds weren't too happy about it. It's supposed to be a 24 hour delivery and I ordered it on Friday. The excuse was that it was Bank Holiday.

Two robins and one blue tit were on the feeder and eating before I had put it back on the stand! :rolleyespink: :) Five minutes later I counted over 50 birds around the feeders.

Keep well and have a great day

Good morning everyone. It is going to be a fantastic day today and is certainly warmer. Received my follow up appointment for the consultant in August which was delivered elsewhere and only because they wondered if the cheque they were waiting on had been delivered here brought my letter to me. We have some Indian guy doing the delivery now so God help us. I got onto the sorting office and said we have no idea where he is posting our other expected mail! Think he feels as long as he get shot of it then he can clear his sack and go home. My neighbour said he is supposed to be working with her but he just isn't with it, so she has done her half the round and left it to him but she has promised to extract my mail and make sure I get it. For that I am grateful. Hopefully, my biopsy appointment will eventually come through!

Have a good day all and enjoy the sunshine. Don't overdo the gardening but stay safe and well and enjoy. God bless.

                                Good day everyone
I have lots of work to get done today.

@shiney I am curious. How long into the spring do you load your birdfeeder? I've been told (can't remember who told me though) that once the bugs are about, the birds don't need the feeder. Does this make sense or is it silly?

take care and be safe. May the 4th be with you!
