So lucky to see a hare out in the open like that......although it shouldn't be in the road. They are not very common these days. I am always happy when I see a hare.

What species of owl was it?

Maybe the gods are saying just notice the wildlife............

Don't know. It glided past so quickly and so close that we didn't get a chance to tell. It was very dark out there and We're no experts on owls.

The only thing I noticed is that it was brown so it wasn't a barn owl.

It was too big to be a Little Owl.

As it appeared big I would guess that it was a Tawny.

hmmm, I'm thinking all of these crossings are good news. They are telling you that we are getting better as custodians of our part of the earth and showing us that they are doing just fine!

                  in my umble opinion... :)

What they were trying to tell you was you`d had just a few to many refreshments at the curryhouse and you`d taken a wrong turn and driven through the gate at the local zoo?

Good call, both of you but it's simply the way wot English was spoke in me younger days East of The Pump. :old: :snork:

Although I was brung up as a sparrer I weren't a true one as I weren't born where we could hear St Mary ringing. :noidea:

Me old mucker, Dickie, weren't born there either but the bells spoke to 'im back in 1366 and it all came true. :blue thumb:

I'm, sure some of you will get the references
