        Better I suppose than finding out what mice can do with them, nipping the lot off the plants and gathering them into piles to rot.

                    Now if i'd actually planted this Parsley, i'd be very pleased with it, but as it happens, it's all self sown :doh:

                      I used to grow watercress, first year for a while I've not, used an old washing up bowl to stand the pots in, so they always had their feet in water. Must get some more seed, my favourite salad crop.

                        My bulb fennel has sprouted, never grown it before, so here's hoping. Has anyone grown it, will the plants I thin out transplant ok?

                          You can thin them out, but they don't like being transplanted, they also bolt if they go short of water.
