That's a shame, but thanks for the beers :blue thumb::heehee:, if its nice we will fire the BBQ up if I get the area finished rains holding me up ,

Its my youngest granddaughters 2nd birthday and having a little party at ours, this little one decided she was coming 3 months early, a big worry at the time she was under 2lb, she's doing great now happy days :).

Hi, managed a few hours late this afternoon when the rain stopped, i couldn't find decking longer than 5.8 local and i don't like two butted up together so i am using a sleeper as a break,

Just the sleeper going across the width to level and fix and this part can be decked.

Advice please, I have to lower the soil level in the area highlighted below, my problem lies I have a few bulbs making there way to the surface they will need removing and lowering,

My question is if I do this now will it stop them from growing this year the other plants should be fine its just the bulbs that are my concern.

                    Hi Martin,

Do you know what sort of bulbs they are ?

I would think that they should be alright as long as you get plenty of soil up with them and plant them straight away and give them a good watering.

It's better to do it now rather than waiting until they are producing leaves and flowers.

Hi Anthony thanks for getting back to me, I think there gladioli this was the area last year and the plants in flower,

I was going to wait while autumn but if they will be ok I would sooner do it now.

You should be ok moving Gladioli. They're one one of the bulbs you can start off in pots and then plant out later, so they don't mind a bit of upheaval.

Hi they need pointing up/a dry mix putting in once set but pleased with the finish, random pattern no set gaps just how I wanted them to look old.
