I'm wearing compression bandages on my knees. I probably don't need to anymore, but I find them so comfortable and warm.

Bad footwear can cause pain in the knees, hips and back even without causing pain in the feet.

FACT - The primary purpose of a moat around a castle was to stop the enemy from digging tunnels under and breaching the castle from below.... the secondary purpose was the be used as an obstacle to get over (which many think this was the main purpose) :)

On a clear sunny day, the sky is blue. Except it isn't actually any colour at all. It only appears blue because water molecules in the air scatter more blue than the longer wavelengths like red.

At sunrise and sunset, the sky will appear orange, because the sun being lower in the sky, the light has more atmosphere to pass through before reaching your eyes. The longer wavelength red end of the spectrum can pass through without scattering so much.

Which brings us nicely to, there are no colours. It's all just our interpretation of different frequencies of electromagnetic radiation. Sunlight is to us actually white, which is how we perceive every visible colour at once. But even that is only a tiny section of the spectrum.

So the fact we arrive at is, colour doesn't exist because it's just our interpretation of different frequencies of light, but light doesn't exist because that's just a convenient human construct that works with our extraordinarily limited primitive senses.

So the ultimate fact is, we are physically only able to perceive the tiniest little bit of reality. We are almost entirely blind. And yet we can see just about enough to recognise that nature is beautiful.

The mystical art of yoga has a technique in it whose name translates into English to 'downward facing dog'.

This dubiously named technique is often borrowed for martial arts training because it is excellent for enabling high kicks, but we don't call it by its yoga name because when you're already soaking in sweat and often up close and personal with each other, we prefer to avoid innuendo as much as possible to save embarrassment.
